do you prefer handwriting your assignments or typing it out?

On some level, I always really detested writing out assignments by hand and dreaded it each and every moment it had to be done. Once I had received my computer, it was the happiest day of my life. I never had to write much of anything out from that point forward. I think my teachers were grateful too, because my writing can be an adventure to read a lot of the time. Still, went to typing and never really looked back. Have barely even picked up a pen in years. Only to sign my name and that is about it. Come to think about it, having been graduated from High School for four years, I have not picked up a pen since then. Now that I go to college online, I have a perfect excuse to type up all of my work.
