I only have a len 28-105/f4. I try many time to take a picture for my baby, but seems the outcome is not that good. I start with 1/60 s, but that make the picture so dim. If I increase the exposure time, the picture will be burr because the baby was moving all the time. Since I cannot use the flash light, which will hurt the baby's eye. I don't know how to take a good picture for the baby. Any idea?

Hi kialele, try placing your baby near a window or any light source so that you can increase your shutter speed. You can also try increasing your ISO so that you can have a faster shutter speed. Another method I use is using the burst shot mode. Taking more shots will help increase your chances of taking some good shots. It is also better to use the wider angle of your lens in order to prevent blurred shots. Depending on the crop factor of you image sensor using the 28mm of your lens will allow you to shoot at slower shutter speed or longer exposure time. Also try shooting at your baby's eye level. Hope this helps you Kialele.
