Cannot updating antivirus database

I have avast pro antivirus in my laptop. It's a pirated program i download from internet with a crack. I don't know why while updating the database always doesn't works. It said that there is a problem with registry. And it also was happened when using kaspersky with fake registry key. Is it caused by that pirated program?? Is almost cracked antivirus program has a same problem? Can you give me some tricks for solving that problem? Thanks for your share

well lots of anti virus software now is in the net, not the pirated one, they give 30 days trials. delete tha avast pro anti virus you uploaded, and look for the trials or buy the original. before u download new antivirus make sure that no other anti virus is uploaded in your computer co zit might cause problem not running or make the pc crashed.

well I don't understand why you don't just use avast free edition!
Why risk running something that might have been meddled with ?
You should give Comodo a go.
It is free and will run on XP ,vista or windows 7.
It has firewall and anti-virus and spy ware control and is easy to configure.
Seems so risky to run something that you absolutely know has been muddled around with and then be surprised when it does things in your registry.
