hey guys im making a game website and i was wondering what you guys think is a better name for the website get-your-game-on.com or Republicofgaming.com

Definitely number 2. One reads like one of those scam sites - it would put people off.

you better use the domain Republicofgaming.com because it is simpler and easier to remember and type in

Either of those will be cool names for a gaming website. But be advised to do your research. You don't want to end up with copyright problems down the road. The first poster commented on the fact that their friends pc had something to do with Rebulic of Gamers on it so make sure that there is nothing out there that may cause a conflict.

Hmmm, that's really cool that you're making a site. Out of the 2 names, I think "republicofgaming" stood out more to me personally...It sort of reminds me of my friend's laptop where on the cover it says "Republic of Gamers", though I can't remember the brand of laptop...But I think that just sounds more appealing to me personally.
