Fellow Indians-Anybody requested cheque from paypal?

Will it be wise to request a cheque form paypal for us,Indians?The fee is $5.But will our Indian banks accept cheque from paypal?Can we take the bold step of losing $5 instead of waiting patiently?

congrats for the bank withdrawal. Did the bank demanded any documents from you? If yes, what were they. Please give me details.

No sanjeev!There is no demands like that.Just choose freelance journalism for the purpose and there ends the matter.You get your money from paypal to your local bank account soon.

I have not yet requested a cheque from paypal. But I would suggest you to go through the wire transfer directly to the local bank in India. That is now enabled. It was blocked for some issue with RBI but I hope now you can withdraw money from paypal to local bank in India.

No i did not request check from PayPal. I don't think Indian banks will accept cheque from PayPal.

Paypal has announced the procedure. But not sure this will affect for cheque withdraw. I don't have much to start cheque withdrawal. If possible, can you do that and let me the result?

Yaa now the problem soled for paypal existence in India..my advice to you is to wait a while and after some nice credits you start reedem into your account..also if your account is verified one, then there is chance for transcating the money into your local bank account directly..check is not recommended typically..
