Hi, friends. I'm just wondering whether you post discussions on a cell phone or on a computer. I usually post on my laptop, but now as i'm staying at home and can't access to internet, i log in mylot and post on my cell phone. It's slower than posting on a computer, but i still enjoy it because i can keep sharing ideas with mylot friends. What do you think of it? Do you prefer posting on a cell phone or a computer? Thanks for your response.

I have no desire to use my phone to access the internet. There is nothing that is that urgent for me and I have access at home.

Thanks for responding. What i mean is you can try posting on a cell phone when you have no access to internet on a laptop, like when you are on bus.

I know what you mean, and fortunately I am never on the bus. I have more than enough opportunity to access at home and if I need to I can do it at work to.

Hi Chenxiaoyue. I only ever post on mylot on my laptop. I do have internet access on my phone but it is very expensive for me so I do not use it. I also think that due to the small keys on the phone it would be quite time consuming to type a decent amount on anything other than a laptop. However you are right, if I was on a bus or out somewhere where I had time to pass, I might possibly make a post on my phone to fill in the time- I just have to get myself a decent plan on my phone so it doesn't cost me so much!

You are right. It is time consuming to type a decent amount of words on a cell phone, but it is also an enjoyment to access mylot on a cell phone when we are unable to log in on a laptop. As to the cost, i don't think you need to invest much for internet. It costs me a little though.

Hello xiaoyue. I have never used my cell phone to log in mylot. In fact, I have never used my cell phone to surf online. I like to use my laptop for the Internet as it is much faster when it comes to typing letters and words. But anyway it is a good idea to use the cell phone to mylot when there is no access to the Internet. Have fun.

I only use my laptop as my cellphone won't work for mylot. I can access it, but trying to post is a real challenge, so I just don't do it. I am hoping ot upgrade to a phone where I can do that though. Some cellphones are a lot like a computer where you can do just about everything you can on your computer. I can't really do everything that I can do on my computer, as my cellphone doesn't have a flash player or java, so I can't really do all that much. I wish I hadn't bought it, but I have to deal with it now as can't upgrade right now unless I pay a fortune for the phone. Anyway, I think that one of these days, all cellphones might be able to access mylot. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

My cell phone is a lot like computers. I can do almost everything i can do on a laptop. It is convenient especially when i need to search for information right at that moment but have no laptop.

Hi, friend. It's great to hear that you got a new phone with all the functions you want. Posting in mylot on the cell phone is quite a challenge as the battery runs faster and I have to charge it almost every two days. But's it's a real fun, esp. when I have nothing else to do. My phone is a Nokia brand and it's works pretty well.

Now, I have a new cell phone, and I can post in mylot from it. I decided to get a Windows Mobile phone, and it is like a computer where I can do everything on it that I can do on my computer. I used my cell phone last week, when I had to babysit my grand kids, and it works very well. I didn't do that many posts, but I did do a few. It does use the battery up faster by posting, so that is why I don't use it in that way all that much, however, I do it more when I am charging up my phone, as I don't have to worry about using the battery up then. I have only had my phone for 2 weeks, and I have really been enjoying it. It is the Samsung Omnia 2 by Verizon. AT&T has it too, and it is a tad bit different than the one Verizon has. I really like the phone, and I am glad that I bourght it even though it was very expensive.

Oh, really? Does that mean I violated mylot rules by starting a similar discussion?
But E71 is a smart phone, so you can surely log in mylot, posting and reading comments. Maybe you need to install an appropriate browser. I couldn't post either when I tried ucweb which is one of the browsers used on cell phones. Then I changed into opera mini5 which has been working perfectly. I can do anything with it just like on my laptop, and the model of my phone is Nokia 6300 which is strictly not a smart one, but I can install most of the softwares used on cell phones. It really gives me a lot of fun.
Have a good day too!
