Do you use behavior-based threat detection?

Was just wondering whether people are aware of the existence of behavior-based malware protection software. Signature-based threat detection is going to become redundant sooner rather than later. Behavior-based threat detection is one of the best ways to get zero-day protection against malware. Programs such as Threatfire are slowly but surely gaining popularity and computer users all around the world are realizing the true worth of such programs.

Um this sounds like an advert, but nevertheless, based on what I have heard and experience, Threatfire is terribad(that is terrible and bad at the same time), for it promises protection against zero day attacks. Behavior based detection takes too much system resources to provide an feasible active scan(you know what I mean, checking security at all times). And behavior based detection interferes with programs like Tor and uTorrent. So for now, I say grrr to Threatfire, zero day prevention is basically nonexistant, and does not make sense for a casual person.
