What was the worst dream you have and are you afraid...

...it would come true one of this days? The worst dream I ever had was I dreamed that I lost one of my love ones... I could really vividly imagine who was the particular one but I am sure he/she directly coming from my family... I cried out loud that even my sister woke up... I thought the time that the whole thing was true... I thanked God it was just a dream... And I always pray it would not really happen, not that I am still alive, I could not just afford to experience it... huhuhu! Why people dream about that, why not about paradise and all the good things we think unreachable to experience? I promptly go to one corner and bite it, one of our beliefs about bad dreams, so that it would not really come true... Have you ever experience the same? Are you scared or just never even think about it and let pass away out from your head?

I have had a lot of bad dreams, but one that sticks with me more than others is something that I really worry about because it could easily happen. In the dream I was in the car with my dad, little niece, and dog. My dad was driving, and we crashed. We actually crashed off of a bridge--I was the only one that lived. And it was awful! It is easily possible for anyone in my family to be in a car accident, and if I was the only surivior of one--I would be devasted! I can only hope that we are all lucky as to never be in a bad car accident!

Hi Lily, That was a totally bad my friend... and yes it is not really possible to happen, maybe that dream is a sort of a reminder with your whole family to always safely drive.. even me, though my dream was not really vivid... I don't know how it happened... I just saw in my eyes that one of my love ones lost his life... that is why today, whenever my Big Brother go to his business far from the city, I would always pray for his safety...

I always worry about little things like that--and when I drive with my family I always want to comment and critique (my dad doesn't always buckle up! And he's a doctor!!) btu I don't want to irritate anyone by telling them how to drive. (I have no problem to tell my dad to buckle up if I'm in the car though). He drinks and eats when he drives too--just realy bad habits! Drives me crazy! lol

Good that you always do that my friend... not concentrating in driving is the common cause of car accident, I have a friend of mine too who could not off from calling, receive a call, or texting while driving... and I happened to ride with him... and I pray the long way... I could not just tell him because he was my boss before...and all those thing are for business matter...

Hi, primeaque86. It would be if my sister was to die. I dreamed that she was in a bad car accident. And I have not seen my sister since April of last year. It has been an year since I last saw her. I don't hear from her and sometimes I think that something bad may happen to her one day.. I am terrified of her losing her life because that is the only sister that I have that is blood relation.

Hi my friend, have she gone to somewhere without constant communication from your family? Even some sort of mails? Well, the dream must be some sort of what? But we must pray she is in good hands and in good faith... God will make a way for you two to see each other again and hug tight!

You welcome my friend... at least she is not really that far...maybe she has reason for that, but don't worry time will she would become ready to mingle you... there are really some rare kind of person like that... We could not just go into their shoes because we are not like them, yet, we have to open our mind enough to understand them... the only thing we can do so far is pray for them... for thier good health and everything... My kuya was missing for 6 years before. I was a second grader when he left to find job in a distant city, he come back when I was already first year high school. Before, my Mom would almost cry every night, and I was very sad too, he is the only brother I have... When he returned home, he told us that he suffered much while not communicating us... he was just shy then for telling the truth he never found a good job, that was why when he had found a good one, he phoned Mom, and a year after, he returned back home....

Thank you so very much for your kind words! She lives here in the same town as I do as far as I know of. She has not sent us any mails or phone call. Her daughter did visit my grandmother for Christmas, that is because her father brought her. My sister did not bother coming. I hope that we do get to see each other soon. My grandmother has been asking if I have seen or talk to her. But, I always tell her no. My sister has just distanced herself from everyone, it seems like..

Well my dream was something similar to yours. I also saw that I lost one of my closest persons. In a dream I was so destroyed by that, I cried and was on the edge of emotional breakdown. When I woke up, I found I wasn't crying and I realized it was only a bad dream. I thanked God for that, I was just so happy that everything was fine again. I don't know why do we see such dreams sometimes, it's really terrible.

Hi bro, yes like you too I was on the edge of emotional breakdown... and thanked God it was only a dream... but the thought didn't really off my mind, I could not get rid of it until weeks past that I am so busy and I forgot it... but whenever I think of my family, specially that I am away from them, I could not help myself from remembering a part of it and suddenly become worry... but I am always praying that God would guide my whole family and save them and us all from any trouble... God bless you my friend...

Wow, this is really weird. When I was a little kid, EVERYTIME I got a fever I had the same stupid dream! I dreamed I was suspended fromt he ceiling in the corner, by my feet. I was 1 of numerous bowling balls. One by one the balls would come, and I would try to dodge them while suspended upside down. I don't ever remember any ball hitting me. But when I woke up, always, my fever would be broken and I would be sweating profusely! It was so crazy! Another time I dreamed that my baby sister had scabs all over her face, like tree bark. It was awful. Then she fell on a pot belly stove and had 3rd degree burns on her face that they covered with a white sauve. Do you know, my Grandma prayed for that she would have no scars. Do you know, that she does not have 1 scar! Wow! Pretty awesome, huh?

Hi my friend, firstly, in behalf of the entire mylot family, I welcome you here.. and thanks for sharing this with me... You know, I dreamed of that too... but I was suspended in the ceiling, I saw demons on the ceiling... they were smiling at me I would screamed to my lungs... I also woke up sweating... hahaha, really weird my friend... but not really the worst, I was 5 or 6 that time with my younger sister only a month old... and my grandma always put lemon thorns on every corner of the house to prevent those things coming near to us specially the baby... and wow, you know some beliefs and practices of our grandmothers, fore-parents were really effective... and so I imagine your sister is very pretty and flawless now...

Hi prime, I do have my fair share of bad dreams and nightmares. I can't recall all of them, but I consider my worst nightmare if I dreamed about losing a loved one. Nothing hurts more than losing someone very special and very close to your heart. When I wake up, the first thing I would do is pray to God to thank him it's only a dream and not real. It's my mantra or habit to remind myself that bad dreams don't come true, it's the reverse or opposite. I put it in mind so I would not dwell on it so much. I think bad dreams are reminders or warnings to us to always live our life to the fullest and Do what we think is right so we'll not suffer the consequences or regret things we didn't do. Just always pray to God before you sleep that you will not have nightmares. I never fail to ask him that. With that, I bid you sweet dreams tonight, prime :)

Hi prime, You're very much welcome and thank you for the BR! ;) Well I admit that sometimes especially when I'm too tired I forget to pray, but I still manage to whisper a few words. Don't worry, God always understand our prayers even if we can't find words to them coz he knows what's in our hearts. Nope, I'm not a business student, I'm an RN taking up my master's degree. :)
