That sounds like a pretty good idea to me. I've noticed that blogs that have raffles and such like that tend to draw pretty good attention, as long as you're able to get the news out that you're raffling things off. People certainly do like getting free things, especially when it doesn't require too much work. Just be careful when doing things like that because it might boost your views and such for a little while, but once the raffle is over there's a really good chance that 99% of those people won't return to the blog because they don't have much motivation to any more, so just be prepared for that.
