diffrentiate between a good friend and a true friend

A friend helps you move house. a true friend would help you hide the bodies

Good friend is someone you share good and bad time in life, but true friend is someone who dare to say the truth to you even at cost you will hate her

What do you mean by a true friend? What do you mean by good? For me a true friend is there for you when you need him most. He is understanding and is not judgmental. He gives his support and tries to be emphatical when things go wrong.

Unfortunately, I learned the difference the hard way and the lesson was very painful. A true friend is a person who is by your side through thick and thin. They stand by you in times of trouble as well as in times of joy. They give you strength when you don't seem to have any strength of your own. Good friends? I don't think that there is any such thing. My experience taught me that I have true friends and I have acquaintenaces. IMO, there's nothing in between.

In my opinion a true friend is a friend with whom you can share your deepest secrets, which you cannot disclose to your parents or anyone as close. A good friend is a friend who rightfully thinks about your good. A true friend is always a good friend! ~cheerio~

Well, all my friends moved away......they couldn't find any jobs here, so thus began the great migration North. Anyway, a good friend is someone you can hand out with, catch a movie, eat dinner or go shopping with. A True friend is someone who will jump your car, give you a ride to the grocery store when they know you don't have a car, or someone who will loan you some money. My best friend once gave me $90 when she knew I was in a bind, and never asked for the money back. Actually, she has sent me expensive gifts over the years, and I am always too broke to send her anything, yet she calls me regularly. Now, THAT is a true friend. I almost feel guilty. Maybe that's the Jew in me talking. My best friend calls me more than my own sibling, believe it or not. And even though I helped my sis with a medical bill, she complains that I didn't spend as much on her past birthdays as she did on mine. I have given her some Happy Unbirthday gifts, but she doesn't acknowledge those. One birthday, I made it known that all I wanted was a phone call and; she didn't call!

Hai everyone, from my opinion there are many good friends but to find a true friend difficult.

The definition depends on how you perceive each roles in a relationship. Anyhow and any way both are same. A TRUE friend is a good friend. A GOOD friend is a true friend. However, "intensity of usage" would say that the higher form of a good friend is a true friend. (wink)

Good friend is some one with whom you can have fun, go for outing, share happiness but true friend is with whom you can share you sorrow and who will be with you in the worst situation of your life.

Good friend would help you when your in trouble, and would lend you a shoulder to cry on. True friend would cry together with you for they feel what your feeling. Good friend would praise you when you have done good things, true friend would advise you when you have done wrong things. True friend are not afraid to say it when you've done a wrong thing, because they are thinking only for your best. But good friend would rather avoid the topic, or rarely ever take the time to care enough to tell you when your wrong, for they are afraid that you would get angry and lose the friendship.

i think true friend is a good friend but good friend might not be a true friend. Good friend is because you like them, they only talk about good things for you, but they might not always there for you. however true friend, when you feel sad, when you need them, they will be there for you to share everything. One day they might scold you because they want us become the best, not doing some silly things. it is very difficult to find a true friend than a good friend because it need time for understanding, accepting about each other bad or good thing. By having a true friend, we able to improve each other.

We all have friends and it is from them that we seek advices or help other than from our parents especially through tough times. However, a friend is not just a friend. We could define them as a good friend or a true friend based on our experience with them. A good friend for me is when we are not worried about courtesies. When we call them anytime for help they are there to help out. We could also speak to them anything in our mind without them being annoyed or bothered. We could not see them everyday but once we communicate with them they are there to spare time. While a true friend sounds a deeper meaning to me. He/she is there to give way for a friend through support even if it hurts his/her own interest and knows how to understand our plans without getting any negative comments. A true friend helps without being told to do so and so as not to expect anything in return.

I think that every true friend is a good friend but not all good friends can be true. I guess the only real friend you've got is a true friend, one that can stand by you when worse gets to worst. Good friends are good to have but true friends are hard to have.

Good friend will be there to share the good times with you. True friend will be there to share your tears with you as well.

A true friend will always be there for you no matter what and will not judge you no matter what you say. You can tell them everything and never have to worry about them telling the whole world. A good friend is someone close to you and helps you with things and is also there for you but not as much as a true friend.
