best digitalkamera in the market now

I am personally a fan of the SLR cameras they are like a film camera in that you can change the lenses so that they are able to adapt to the needs of a given situation. I have a Nikon D60 which is a solid camera. I have used it in a number of different times and types of shots. It works well for basically any type of shot you may encounter. It has a great Auto function. It also has all the features that you will find in other SLR's and if you are going to shell out some money you might as well go with an SLR because you will be able to have this camera that can be upgraded with an new lenses and if you have an old Nikon Camera with its lense hanging around you can also pay like $15.00 and Nikon will fit it so that it will work with their SLR's which Cannons can't do (They changed to a completely different lenses design for their SLR's). If you are going with a Point and Shoot then I would go with Nikon or Sony as they are both really good Digital Cameras. I have use both Sony's and Nikon's point and Shoots but I have found the Nikon D60 SLR to be the best of them that I have used. I would shop around for a good place I got mine from Costco for like $599.99 which included 18-50mm to 55-200mm lens with a 2gb SD card. Hope that helps I would suggest getting a SD card to match the abilities of the Camera. For the Nikon D60 you'll what a high speed card to match the ability of the rapid shot feature of the SLR.

I prefer EOS 550D but if you want cheaper lens for your camera go for NIKON :)
