Hello dear members,
A recent study by World Health Organization reveals that Japan has the greatest number of Suicide Cases recorded. This really shocked me.
What makes a person quit all he has? In what circumstances one refuses to live? What is the mystery about those suicide attempts? What difference does it make if you choose to stay?
Sometimes we face difficulties and loose all interest in life. We face loss, humiliation, deprivation, betrayal and many such things that seems to block our way. Life seems quite unbearable.
One may have a thousand reasons to quit, but what might be the strongest reason to stay? What has been your reason to keep it going, in spite of all that you might have incurred in your life.
God bless you all

Hello my friend
You know this topic is really touchy, its hard to know why someone decides to end it all, I can only think at the time they may feel they have no one or maybe they used all their resources and don't want to burden others, its really hard, this bothers me alot when it comes to young people that decide to take this route, they have yet to really live life what would cause them to take such drastic measures its really sad, I would love to be the one to talk to anyone that have this thought in mind, I don't judge I just feel really sorry I was not there to help at the time.
Thanks my friend.

Hi kitty,
You have always been such a sensitive person and I really appreciate that. People like you always make others happy with their brilliance. I know, as long as you live, you will spread love and hope. I wish everyone would think like you. It sounds like you are a true believer and a seeker, which means you are being endowed each and every moment with God's greatest strength.
God is our father and as his children we will always have those features of God himself. Inside us we bear an infinite source of love, energy, strength and endurance. They are just gifts that we are born with. No matter how lonely we feel God will always be with us. A 100% surrender to divinity will always release you from all burdens and agonies.
Thanks so much for such a wonderful participation.
Take care

With me I stayed because I thought my sister needed me . Now I'm staying because of the love of my guy. If I kill myself now it would kill him! I don't want to hurt him like that!
The reason I thought I had to end it all was because I didn't see anything in the future. I mean nothing, No love or anything. But for others is could be the lost of self worth.Or a truly broken heart.

Hello,
Hmm. So your cause for staying alive changed from time to time? I am glad to know that you are holding to one principle called love. Though I didn't change my cause so frequently, I have a similar cause, which is to love god. If I get killed or even kill myself, I would like to do that for God, or, for my country, or for mankind. Thanks so much for being so kind and for taking part in all my recent discussions.
God bless you

Well theres is a lot to look forward to but for me the strongest reason to live would be my family ,
Choosing to stay even after so much suffering is a decision which is always right as you always have someone out there waiting for you to return,
Think about you parents , your family is it right that to save yourself from the miseries of life you make there life a misery i dont think so ...

Because life is a way and we have to walk it through. Because after the bad things come the good ones. And because after rain comes the rainbow.
For me, the strongest reason that I won't do it is my child. I don't want to ask "Am I so bad that my mom didn't love me and decided to left me?". And after grow up more and understands that it was weakness to be ashamed of me - that I've decided to escape and left him. When I think that, I think I can pass through anything to not let him to ask that questions.

Hello,
Thats such a wise thinking. Yes, when we try to escape we actually forget all about those people who are dependent on us, may be mentally or otherwise. We become so weak that we can't even analyze the consequence and its effect on our own reputation. We just can't bear a few moments of shock and decide to give up. The thing is, if we survive those situations, we come back with an added purity and strength. But if we leave our growth stops right there. No growth can be achieved without struggle.
Thanks for such a wonderful response
God bless you

Hello,
Sense of dignity is remarkable. It is one of the most important feature that helps you stand apart from the rest of the mass. But overindulgence in dignity is what I call inflated ego, which makes you quite vulnerable. Egoistic person are in essence very weak and vulnerable. They get easily hurt. Sometimes it becomes quite impossible to bear with the humiliation and disrespect. The thought of ending one's life comes quite naturally in situations like this.
God bless you

well... one could say I am living my life for apparent no reason.. I hang around because nobody gave me any guarantee that it would be bliss afterlife... the whole concept of living makes no sense until you hear a child's laughter, see a baby walking for the first time.. teach a kid how to ride a bicycle.,, see a child happily gazing with awe at everyone and everything oblivious to the cruel world...

Hi,
I agree to that. I think we have a lot to learn from a child. A child is refreshing of course and always restores vitality inside you. But the most important thing that you can learn from a child is the simplicity and detachment. A child is happy only because of these two reasons. We are always chasing happiness, but we lost these two vital things in the process. Simplicity is a treasure. This can alone bring the greatest peace and comfort. No matter how complicated one's life seems, if one is simple enough, one will always find a way out of it. The detachment is just another byproduct of this simplicity. You can't solve a problem as long as you are mentally involved. A sudden detachment and indifference is the key to solution of just any problem in this world. That is why people consider meditation as a method of effective management.

We shouldnt quit because problems are temporary state and putting an end to ones life is a permanent state. People are actually thinking that their problems are too heavy that they think they cant do it anymore and they give up. They dont understand that those problems are given to them because they are capable of solving them. God will not give you problems if He knows you wont be able to solve it. No matter what the problems are, we should take it positively because its given to us for a purpose and that purpose is wise.

Hi,
I couldn't agree more. Actually I think that it is actually God who carries us through our difficult time. The ultimate aim of a human life is self realization, which in other words may be called realization of God. The problems we face just take us one step forward each time to the direction of this self realization. The more we face those things the stronger and smarter we become. We are actually being prepared for the ultimate purpose of our lives.
I really appreciate such a positive response
