Although I live in England and I have visited a lot of countries, my favourite has to be New Zealand.
Main reason is the people are very friendly, the country is very clean and not crowded, there is lots of space, lots of various sporting activities.
Also the scenery is fantastic and the roads are not crowded with traffic.
My other great place is Western Canada where, again people are very friendly and the scenery is fantastic but a bit cold in the winter.

I also live in England and have visited lots of different countries. My favorite country is Samoa. I love its white sandy beaches, green rain forest, cool waterfalls and rustic looking buildings. It is reasonably priced, friendly and unspoilt. My second favorite country is Australia because it has unique wildlife and a stunning looking landscape. My third favorite country is New Zealand. I love its wonderful walking tracks and camping spots. I adore its picturesque landscape and its quiet roads. I adore the Seychelles because of its lovely looking palm fringed beaches. I found Mayan ruins as well as gorgeous looking palm fringed beaches in Belize. I shall be visiting Canada this summer: Vancouver and the Rocky Mountains.

Thanks Maximax8,
Well I think I had better think about traveling some more to see your favorite places as well, they sound great.
You have probably found that it's not that expensive to visit all these exotic places if you stay in Back Packers accommodation or Youth Hostels?
I think it,s the cost of the flight is the most expensive part of the trip.

I'd have to agree with you! I stayed in Wellington on the North Island for two weeks in 2004. I drove myself around the South Island for two weeks in 2005. I climbed two glaciers, went on tours & walks & eco-tours, etc. It was an awesome experience. Even when you get back home, you feel like you're on top of the world for days - literally half-way up a glacier or something. They have full-on vegan bed & breakfast places there where I stayed, as well as in Nelson & one other place I can't recall right now & vegan eat-outs all over the east coast (the west coast was like a nightmare for me!) that are open 24/7 which make some real good stuff. Organic too! The place is amazing. I was there in May, so just before winter, but Nelson Sound was all iced up, so traffic couldn't get through.
I've never really been to Canada or anywhere else much at all.
