I am having a hard time believing the US will be
better off in a year. I think it will take longer
to recover from the money trouble we have. I do
not see any great ideas, that is going to help.
The health care issue is not doing good either.

I certainly hope that I, personally will be better off a year from now. I've had a really bad time of it in the last year or two. As far as the country goes, I'm pessimistic. The government tell us that we're coming out of recession, but the basic problems haven't been solved so I expect the economy to go into another downturn before long.

Yes, I do believe that I, personally, as well as the country in general will be in better shape a year from now. Economic recovery takes time and there have been signs that things are improving so I expect that that trend will continue.

Recovery is going take longer than a year. Unless this country gets flooded and I mean really flooded with new jobs than nothing is going change fast. So no I don't expect things to change that much in a year. We are still bleeding jobs. The post office just announced it is going to lay off a big number of people.Other companies are still laying off. No one is really hiring. Until that changes....we are kinda stuck.

No, we will not be better off a year from now. Our national debt will continue to climb, the dollar will continue to devalue, And with companies finding that they can run well with fewer workers unemployement will remain high.

I think a year from now, our country will be so leaden with social programs. There will be people who THINK they are doing better because the government is sending them more money each month. The middle class, the worker bees will not.
