Hi All
Card?
Letters or anything else?
Do you still handwrite thank you cards and notes to your loved ones?
I came across a letter my deceased sister wrote to me 35 years ago
and cried my eyes out. To touch the paper
that she placed the tip of the ink pen held in
her own hand somehow for a moment in time
took me to a place when I stood with my arms wrapped
tight around my little sister as she wept over a long forgotten
lost doll or could have been unkind word.
Thank You Sheila for leaving this memory for me RIP
Thoughts?

Hi Raydene,
When writing a letter it is always on paper and in my handwriting even if it is a card,,never do I print it out. Personally I think that handwritten letters, cards etc are more personal to whomecver you are writing to and that means more than having it in print..also the other reason is that if you type a letter or ptint a card it just doesn't heve the energy of the person on it...LoLo

Thanks for sharing this story with us.
I am glad that you have fond memories of your late sister.
I don't keep all the letters or birthday cards that I receive
but I think I should keep a special place in my drawer
for them. thanks for sharing.

Writing, for me, is a wonderful experience. I am able to express everything through paper and pen. Although it is indeed wonderful it is also tiring. When I write I pour out my soul into that letter. Whether it is a simple greeting card or a sonnet I always end up tired but very very satisfied. Note: I'm not the one who cry, my reader do that for me. :)

i do... i send handwritten, own thoughts letters to my boyfriend in germany, and to my friends around the world... that way, i am able to touch them, even if they are miles apart from me... and whenever i receive personalized letters from my friends, i feel happier and it makes the friendship stronger, like we were never apart... and i guess, they do feel the same when they receive letters from me...

Yes, I send letters from times to times to aquaintances and former classmates if I want to keep in touch with them. However, for close friends I prefer the email.
