how do we know for which question we got a point?

How do we know for which discussion, answer or comment we get a positive or a negative point and by who? We do come to know when someone selects ours as the best response, so why not on the point system too? And we also come to know when our discussion is deleted. Hence I am asking.

MyLot doesn't even want to disclose how the DRS system works. The + and - is part of the DRS so it will remain as anonymous as how our earnings are calculated. We don't see how much we earn for our activities so we also don't see where we get our ratings from. Hope that gives you an idea of what I'm trying to say.

and you do not know yet that we rate each other , that mylotters themselves are the raters? maybe that is why our stars and ratings do not move all you newcomers do not rate us, when you should be doing so , read the blasted rules please?

Oh I've read the rules alright. By where we get our ratings from, I meant specific members. It's an anonymous rating system of + and - and we can get penalties if we use the - rating too much, so people tend to avoid rating when they don't want to. Blast the rules because I've already read them. If you're telling me to rate you then you are doing it wrong because you are not contributing to the discussion like how all people that want + ranks do. This misunderstanding was from how I said "we also don't see where we got our ratings from". It's anonymous so we won't know which member gave us a + or a - and which topic that rate was from. I'm starting to think you're the one that forgot the rules. I rate people just fine thank you, us new people are too new to see any of your posts so stop begging for ratings because it is unsightly for a senior MyLotter to do. I'm not risking a penalty just to rate you a - as I'd rather vote a + on posts that are actually helpful to the current topic.

Hi udayrao, I think it is better if our point rating keep anonymous because that might open to abuse if our rating to others being known especially if you rate it negative or not rate it at all. There is a possibility that people who rate negative to a rude and/or abuse post would have their rating drop drastically. And how do you explain to your friends if you not rate their posts? There are a lot of thing to be consider. Mylot will send a notification if our posts (discussion and/or response) being deleted. If you did not get any notification when your posts being deleted, you need to update your notification at preferences. http://www.mylot.com/nr/editNotifications.aspx

udayraow2 yet another person who is going to get this discussion deleted because you broke a mylotrule you did not think you had to read, why dont you newcomers read the damned rules, the guidelines the questions and answers, can you read? if so why did you not read and get your own blasted answers? you do not know who ranked you positive or negative, mylot says they do that to avoid confrontations and ugly squabbles over this ranking. you will be emailed if your discussion is deleted and mylot admins will tellyou why,my question to you udayrao2 is why the hell you did not read all the mylot information? why? why?when you refuse to read the information mylot provided for you you risk having all your discussions deleted when you keep breaking rules you did not bother to read, my question again is why do you not read the rules? Did you know that if we respond to your silly discussion we also lose money as our responses are wiped out with your deleted discussion? seems you need to do some needed reading.

udayrao2, I'm so proud of you. You handled all that meanness and demeaning statements so well. Anyway, it was a good question, and I hope you understand the system and how it works now.
