What do you think about this topic? I started a blog ( not a blog actually, just a compilation of my favorite articles ) a few months back. I publicized the blog the best way possible by communicating to my friends, colleagues etc. But recently I shut down my blog because I felt no one liked it or visits them. Now, my friends are saying "You are blog is good, why did you shut down? " I just don't know what to say? Should I re-start my blog?

Nevertheless, I have learned one thing from starting up blogs, Certain things are valued only after it dies ( relating it to humans ).

We really never value what we have until its no longer there. Once we have a chance to miss it, then you really begin to appreciate what it brought. Then you wish you had appreciated it when it was around, instead of waiting when it was gone. Then you want it back but many times that it cannot be possible.
I am sure that situation has happened countless times. People, places, things of all sorts, unappreciated, but when they are gone, the sting of loss is felt more powerful than ever before. We wish they would return and the good old days would be back but unfortunately, they will not be back more often then not. It just goes to show you that absence tends to lead to fondness.

I agree with you rakesh. People only miss things or their loved ones after they are gone. Most of us will never appreciate the value of a thing or a person until they are gone in our lives. Its just ironic since you long for someone ones they will never be with you but you take for granted that someone when they were still with you.
