I had the same situation when I graduated from the university because my parents especially my dad had a huge dream for me on becoming a doctor. After graduation, I studied again and was always given money to buy things that I am gonna need. They supported me financially and it was a lot of pressure on my part too because they want me to have really good grades but I can do it. I was in medical school for more than a year and it was against my will. If we do things against our will, the results are not so good. Sometimes we just need to make our parents understand our situation. They would get angry at first but they will actually understand in the long run. That's what I did, I told them I am going to quit med school and they were really upset at first but they have no choice but to accept the fact that I am quitting. I didnt want them to feel that way because it will only be a waste of time and money if I continued. The key is, whatever you're facing right now, just make your parents understand.

You're so lucky sawaxiao. You have the parents who care you and must be thankful of it. I'm a working student in my high school and college days. Nobody care about my studies. I will be the one who boosted my effort to maintain my grades for me to finished my studies. So I get it. Knowledge is the best asset that nobody can acquired from you.

Actually my mom don't ask about my grades though I know she will feel proud If I do well in school, I'm not a competitive type, so for me as long as I pass then its okay with me...
