I've been using paypal since 2004 and have had nothing but good service from them. Paypal is very trusted and respected here in the U.S. as I've never read anything negative about the company. While I can understand your concern (I was the same way when I started with it too), you have nothing to worry about.

PayPal is probably the safest around hun, now that you are verified you can use your PayPal secure in the knowledge that your transactions are covered

Verifying your paypal account by linking your credit or debit card is safe, I have been using paypal since 2008 and so far I never experienced any trouble with their services. Paypal is the most popular online money transfer, trusted by big time companies, so don't worry.

I've been using PayPal for quite a while. Paypal is a very well established company, I have never hear about the company doing anything dishonest like stealing.
I understand where your nervousness is coming from though. I get like that too sometimes with things I don't know much about. I have an over-active imagination. lol
I did the whole conformation thing a long time ago and nothings gone wrong since. I think of it like, Paypal has been in business a long time and they've got lots of money - why would they steal from little me? lol

hi! I really don't think that they can take some money from your bank account if they don't have your permission, but if you are afraid that they could do it, you better make a new bank account only for paypal, put the money you get from there, so if you have no money in PP then you will have nothing in your bank account and there is nothing what they can steal from you

I have been using paypal for a very long time and I have never had one problem from them. I have verified my accounts and never even had a small fee withdrawn from it without my knowledge. Paypal and Ebay also include a Buyer's Protection Service that gives you your money back if someone doesn't send what you purchase on Ebay. I give Paypal a BIG Thumbs UP!
Don't worry, Be Happy =)

I'm in the USA. The only thing bad about paypal are the fees if you sell stuff on Ebay. I think they are kind of high, but everyone has to get their cut of your profits, right? I would def. suggest getting money in cash above and beyond anything else... But to pay for stuff online, I really think that PayPal is the way to go!

i dont think paypal will do that and during verification they never ask how much money they will sent to my bank account as they dont care of how money you have in bank, they just want to make sure your a legit person to open a paypal account. or maybe the one the you mentioned is the money they get from your account as proof that its a real account but then its alright as the money will also returned to you after few days. ive been using paypal not just for online earnings but even for sending and receiving personal money from family and friends and its more cheaper than sending via western union and etc specially if they will send big money though their value of dollars is quite lower as compare to the real exchange in my country and anothe disadvantage is that it took a week before you can get your money to your bank.

you mean paypal will ask or get a certain amount of money from your savings account during registration to make sure if its a legit account owned by you, so you must have at least 2 dollars in your account or equivalent to that in your local money so they can process your registration then they will return it to you after 4 days but not to your bank account but in your paypal account, you will see it there. then its up to you if you will transfer that money back to your savings account but then if its below the minimum cashout they will going to charge you for that, it will only be free if you withdraw within or above the limit goodluck

i think we have a diferent perception . here is what i meant. in verification paypal will send me money. so it's not me who send monee y to paypal. and then paypal will ask how much money that they have sent to my bank account...

Man are you kidding?! It's paypal, it's the largest on-line savings service. They are old and rich company, so do you think they need to steal your money to get rich. What they have is millions of accounts of people worldwide and they try to reach to new ones.
