I would have to say it was against Bret hart at Wrestle Mania 8 for the I/C Title. I can;t think of any other matches that were as good but I did however enjoy his match with Adrian Adnonis at Wrestle Mania 3. What about you?

Roddy Piper is one of my favourtie wrestlers. The match against Bret Hart for the IC title was one of the best but I have to go with the dog collar match from starrcade with him agaist Greg The Hammer Valentine. Boy was it a bloody brawl but such a performance from those two veterans. The match is one of my all time favourite for its time.

Well its hard because Piper has had great matches with all the top stars. If i would have to pick i would agree with the piper vs hart match at wrestlemania. It really showcased some of the great IC matches the WWE have had in their history and the fact that piper decided not to cheat to get the win really put him over as a face. The match itself was good too and the two shaking hands really topped it off. Its great to see the mutual respect after matches.

I really enjoyed the Roddy Piper against Greg "The Hammer" Valentine match at the first Starrcade. It was a Dog Collar Match and I remember it being a pretty good match. The storyline leading up to this match was Valentine severely injuring Piper by trying to severe his ear and also he took Piper's United States Title. Piper gets back, doesn't want the belt but wants revenge. That's about all I can remember off the top of my head, its been many years since I seen that match. I wish I would have seen a lot more of Piper's pre-WWF work, including his feud with Ric Flair. By the time I saw them feud in the 1990s in WCW, it was completely watered down.
Bret Hart and Roddy Piper would be a close second. I think this was the match that really officially began Bret Hart's rise to the top of the company, towards the WWF Championship. Not to mention a great finish. Truly the last really great match in the career of Roddy Piper.
