I was explaining to my 10 year old grandson what an anarchist was. I'd just read a quote that said, 'I tried to start an anarchists group, but they wouldn't obey the rules'. My grandson asked 'what if the rule was not to obey the rules?' Can anyone tell me?

The point of Anarchy isn't just to find and break as many rules as possible. An Anarchist simply does not acknowledge the Power of rules to begin with. Anarchists believe that rules only have the power you give them. And that no one can have any power over you unless you let them. I would tell your son that if the rule was not to follow the rules an anarchist would just go fishing or something.
