karaoke

I love it. I run a business with karaoke. We have a really good time except when people get to drunk and can't sing well. Never really had to much of a problem. I wasn't into the whole thing but got brave and started singing and decided to get into the business. Its fun

used to do it for a laugh when I was younger/single etc, would never dare now, it's funny how we change. I think it's only about having fun really, I love to hear the kids.

I think its fun, I used to go out to the bars fri/sat nights, to watch karoake, participate in it and such. Some people are really addicted to it, and really get into it. Its kinda weird to me, but for the most part I think its fun!

I think it's good fun. Only got up and sang once but I like watching others.

I think it's fun to listen to other people, but I myself have to be drunk to even get up there

I think karaoke is a joke. I guess it can be fun to do if you're really intoxicated, but I can't see going to a restaurant or bar and paying to eat or drink there while people sing badly.

well first time was fun , i sang with a few friends at a pub , and yeh i liked it was fun and ha da good laugh.

I think it sounds fun! I'm too shy to do Karaoke though. I do it at home on my PS2 when no one is looking ;).

I'm sure it can be fun, but the last time I went to a karaoke place, I lost my voice. We too had a small room and we sang so many songs. There were so many songs we thought we knew the words to and we somehow jumbled up the song. So we were laughing our butts off and tryin to sing. A little dancing was involved too.

A lot of you are missing the boat here. Karaoke was invented to let you be the star for a minute or two, not to diminish the original, to beat down live bands or to make fools out of the pretenders. Just a lot of fun and very easy to sing the right notes if you first of all can sing at all and secondly have good equipment. Ah that's what you're probably missing. You have to have a great amp for this.

I think it can be fun...my dads friend is tone deft plus drunk so its the funniest thing

Karaoke are just for fun and only a pastime.As far as i know karaoke was invented by a filipino,a citizen of the Phillippines.

It is fun, if you are out drinking., I think if you aren't drinking it can be really annoying.

Its fun i love to sing .i just hate the tone deaf singers..Ilove the drunk singers though to fricking funny.

Karoke, It's for either undiscover talent or drunk untalented people you hope never get discoverd and sometimes wish you hadn't discovered the particular place you found it!

As my name suggests, I am actually a DJ and host karaoke nights quite frequently at bars etc... they can be great fun, until you have drunken idiots trying to steal the microphone from each contestant or trying to join in with everyone and getting ugly when they are told to wait their turn... or people who are obviously tone deaf who want to be up there singing every third song.... but then again, sometimes you get some incredible talents coming into those places, so it can swing either way... personally, I love to get up there and sing my lungs out whenever I get the chance!

We just went on a cruise and it was SO MUCH FUN!!!! Of course there was some liquor involved but even if there wasn't, it was still be awesome!

when depressed, sing! when angry, sing! when sad, sing! when happy, sing! when unloved, sing! when inlove, sing! we filipinos love to sing no matter what the occasion is. it does not really matter if you are good at it or not. we just sing our hearts out!
