yes....i am a deep person with a lot of thought. i love to just walk around randomly or just sit and stare at something and just think...about issues, life, love, and other things......yet sadly....i have so much work and things to do it is rare for that to happen.

hello there,
yeah! haha and i usually caught myself doing this! sometimes i just didn't notice that i am sitting idle already, sometimes even lying on sofa idle! haha
laziness is one reason yes, but sometimes tiredness as well...
its like i just want to sit there, not doing anything, mind is kinda blank and i am just looking on tv but sometimes don't understand what i am watching! hehe
i am not always busy at work coz since i am just staying at home, some chores i know can wait! hehe and so when i feel lazy, i am really lazy!

i dont sit idle. the time i do sit 'idle', i am having my cat's nap or take 40 winks on my couch or bed.when i am tired after the morning works or work out, i sleep for even 2 hours at a stretch be it on my bed or couch. so tired that i drift off to a deep sleep. in other words, my idle time is sleeping or eyes closed.i am not talking the mandatory night sleep every night which is a must. other than that if i watching tv, i fold the day's clothes or clear the coffee table or arrange the old stack of newspapers to sell or give away to charities.sometimes i idle away on the phones with my friends but i limit myself to the most half an hour. the other time i spent time idling is waiting in the que at fasty food restaurants or in waiting areas. in the waiting areas , i read the papers, pamphlets or a magazine or a book or even write notes or letters for the snail post to loved ones. i always feel that time when gone or over is lost to eternity. i cannot get back or restore yesterday or even this morning's time back.thus i want and i do my best to spend my time as fruitful as possible. i believe life is short, so i make the best use of time. why? in some chinese homes that i went to, there were photograhps of ancestores hanging on the walls. by glancing at them, i realised time and tide waits for no man. whatever you want to do, do it and dont proscrastinate.

There are times that I would like to just sit down and do nothing. After a long day of work, stress, pressure- at times I really just would like to be alone.

Hi!
I am not one to sit for too long without getting up but on the other hand it can be very comfortable to just sit and relax. If I do sit idle, I find it more fun to do so outside where we can observe the beautiful nature around us. I'd love to get hammock to put in the backyard.

I don't like to sit idle, myself. I like to be busy doing something. I will sit and watch television sometimes. However, I will usually be eating or reading something at the same time. I don't consider myself a couch potato, though. I just like to be more active. I always say to each his own. Kathy.

I never like to sit idle at any time. I am always doing something when I am sitting down. Even if that something is just randomly surfing through the Internet to kill time. I really do not like being bored for any reason and by sitting idle, it will allow me to get bored or worse too relaxed. Therefore, I will not be ready to get anything accomplished when it is time.
Fortunately or unfortunately depending on how you look at it, there is very little time for me to sit idle and have a chance to get relaxed. There is always something for me to do. I am working hard at a variety of tasks. Sometimes too hard and at the price of driving myself to the point of frustration. No time for downtime to be idle.

Always busy with works makes people overwhelm. Rest is necessary for reconciliation. It is said the he who takes rest do the best. Rest is very important to focus on and gear up our power. Continuous working without rest make people powerless. And no can concentrate on their work when he is in uninterrupted works for long times.
So I prefer to take rest sufficient and gather power for work.
