You mean tails or tales? hehe. The English language has so many same-sound words it can be confusing at times. Even us natives misspell the words when we are writing fast like instead of fairy tale we may write fairy tail and stuff. No wonder immigrants have a hard time learning the language. . I feel sorry for them. English is not easy.

I mean "tails" "tails in the bath". but I am not sure whether the writer have misspell the words or not. the original sentence is " the hotel needs new painting, new tails in the bath, a new breakfastroom". so what does "tails" in this sentence refer to?

He misspelled the word and meant to type "new tiles in the bathroom". The person is probably not English speaking native and wrote it the way it sounds in his language.

Faucets are the taps that bring the water into the bathtub or basin,in time they will need to be replaced. 1 Start by connecting the taps to the new basin. Remove the back nut and washer from each tap tail. Note which side the hot and cold taps were connected to the old basin and push the new tap tails through the corresponding holes in the new basin. Replace the washers and back nuts and tighten with a spanner, then screw a tap connector to each tail.
