Today, I officially sign up with people string, and try to earn some money from it. From my first impression on People String, it is pretty similar to facebook. The only difference is that you got paid to socialize and do activities in People String website. For the first login, I got earned $0.10, and I posted some photos, and write a blog. I don't know would that earn me some points also?

Good for you. Previously, I had an account with them. But as I wasn't able to receive their code via snail mail, I couldn't do much with the account.
Let me shared with you what happen. Initially I had the thinking that peoplestring points and dollars are the same and I was quite excited at how fast I could be cashing out the payment. After I reached the 1000 points, I asked the admins how I could cashout because there seemed to be nothing available for me to do that.
After many emails, (throughout the emails, they just tell me very standard stuffs and did little effort to explain to me that I got the whole situation wrong), they finally replied that points and dollars are not the same, and thus, there is no payment available for me. I won't say that I am not at fault because I had the idea that points and dollars are the same.
I was quite upset the way they replied sounds like a machine replying to me because they replied about if I achieved the amount of peoplestring dollar then can I cashout. I mentioned to them time and again that I have achieved the points and it was until the very last email (forgot how many was that) did they finally replied to my questions.
Anyway, I deleted my account for good because I can't earn much on my own. Thus, to everyone who is hyper about peoplestring, make sure you did enough research on how you could earn if you happens to be unable to receive their code via snail mail.

Great to hear that you are enjoying your stay there and earning. Didn't really know about the 60 days rule but I think I already hit the period when I requested for cashout but I got 0 payment because I didn't have any referrals, none did I purchase their people dollars or signup the offers for the people dollars as well, I guess it is just not my cup of tea.
Hope you will have fun in myLot as well! Cheers! :)

Getting the code and surfing your cashbox is not the only way to earn in PeopleString. You should have continued your effort in increasing your Peoplepoints. But to each his own.
The initial payment for free users will be after 60days.
I did my research on the site itself. Posting on forums. The community in there are really helpful. They also have webseminars for new members. This will help every one on earning and making full usage of the site.
