Can you still remember the names of your friends?

Or forget some of them and you could only remember their faces... and everytime you meet you would just say "hi", "how are you" and that would be repeated again the next time... even you would talk for a long time you could not still remember... it's on the tip of your tongue but your mind could hardly recall it... and you would doubt whether to ask them or not... It happens many times in me, I just keep saying "Hi buddy, Hi friend" and I could not really dare to ask them personally until such time I would ask someone about their name again...
I belong to a kind of person who would remember faces but not names... there is also one kind who would remember names but hardly on faces...
Your sharing friends...

I can even remember most of my friends' names.Um..by the way,i am a chinese girl.Memories about my high school life are always vivid...it's full of happiness and of course sorrows. We had a good time for 3 years and played well. The reason why i can remember most of their names perhaps is that i miss my past times and i wanna remember those people ever in my life.Umm..pictures ,which have their signs, are one of my way to remember their names.I see friends as God's gifts all the time...O(n_n)O

i also remember most of them, especially those special friends that i came to be with most of the times, in school and in the community. but there are those that you can remember only through the face and sometimes you can't even remember where you have met.

hi! yes, I do still remember the names of all my friends- the present and the former ones. I have a great memory and forget names and faces very hard. I even still remember the names and the faces too, of all my schoolmate from 1st grade, which means 14 years ago. recently I even met one girl in my home town, which I haven't seen from about 10 years and I recognized her, because she really doesn't look that different :)

Hi prime,
I could remember all the names of my friends. If I can't remember his/her name, then she/he is not my friend, but an acquaintance. ;) Sometimes, I run into people like in your situation, we talk but I couldn't remember the name although it's at the tip of my tongue. I would not dare to ask coz I might come across as rude, and its just plain embarrassing. What I would do is to continue to talk to her/him to get more clue, and as soon as he/she is out of earshot, I would ask my friends if they remember the name. I would even search for it. I'm the kind of person when I forget something or its at the tip of my tongue, I can't get it out of my head and can't sleep. it's torture. LOL ;p

I am 60 and remember the names of all my friends still and though some I have not seen since a child so might not recognize them as an adult at first I would normally be able to remember their name. People are often amazed I do remember their names and it is pleasing to them.

Well, I've been bad with names all the time. I think if I would push my brains and take some time, I would be able to recall all the names. But if I saw my former classmate on the street and had to greet him, I am not sure if I would remember his/her name. Luckily or not, I don't meet these former classmates often.

I can't see faces very well but I do remember voices. But, I can't remember names at all. It takes me forever to remember names and quite often people end up telling me multable times the names and it still iludes me. However, eventually I remember the names which doesn't make me feel too bad.

for me,if i kept touch with the people,i will remember them.if i didn't talk with them for a long time,i will forget them quickly.sometimes i called the wrong names of them. one day i just walked on the street.my classmate met me.he asked me if i remembered him or not.i said 'yes,of course.' but we shout two different names. i thought he would be angry with me at that time.we didn't see each other from that time.

No problem with friends' names, but I do have a problem remembering the names of people I have just met, especially if I get introduced to more than one person at a time!

Once I attended a party I talked with a man for a long time. I know him, however I can not remember his name. When we finished it I asked my friend about his name. My friend felt surprise, anyway I tried to remember his name, at last I still can not know his name.

Truth is, I find it not that hard to remember my friends' names once I see their faces. But there are times when if I try to recall someone by memory, I tend to forget their names but can easily reanimate their faces inside my mind. Only when time had passed by sometime like after half an hour or more did their names almost immediate would crop up in my memory..weird eh, but I think lots of us or maybe all of us have somehow experienced this kind of memory recall situation. You are right there that lots of times its in your tip of the tongue and after a while when you are not thinking about your friend's name it would suddenly appear inside your head..

With my closest and best friends, I never forget names, faces, or names and faces. But with acquaintences, people I may have thought of as friends years ago, people I once worked with, etc., I forget all the time. I remember names; I remember faces; but names and faces together...nope. Now that I'm older, I'm less "afraid" to ask. I just say something like, "old age has set in, I'm sorry, I can't remember your name?"

Good morning my friend... Yes I agree on you... closest and best friends names and faces could hardly be forgotten though... but people we have thought and considered friends for a long time ago or years ago could be easily slipped out from our memory specially their names... but you know, your last statement is an excuse... you can ask their names in person then... I am afraid to sound rude if I do that... hahaha

I remember all my best friends names, friends what I see often. And I remember all my clasmates names. I feel strange if I ask name to people, who I'm saw or people who is said it's name, and I have forged it. I don't now why all people is remember my name, problably it's easy to remember it.
