MOTHER or FATHER?. :(

hi myLotters, let me put you in a situation.. if you need to choose between your mother or your father who would you choose?.
its kinda been my problem lately. im like being put in a situation where i have to choose between my mom or my dad. my mom and dad separated when i was still in high-school. but even though they separated, my relationship with the both of them didn't change at all. my dad still sends me money in order for me to go to a good school while my mom provide for my everyday living. they are both in japan but they dont live together. everything was stable until my dad offered me to continue my college at japan. he said his not getting any younger so he needs someone to be beside him. i am his only son so i guess that leaves me no choice. my mom wants me to live their but when they separated my mom's mind changed. my mom is like a bit jealous of what my dad is giving me (money) so she thinks that, because she cant provide as much as my dad, i love my her less. she really dont want me to live with my dad.
any opinion or suggestion regarding this one? if you have the same story or any story with regards to this situation or anything about choosing between your mom and your dad, feel free to post

Both parents are important to us. For me, I cannot choose among the two. Spend time to both of them. Anyway, they both live in Japan. It is a matter of spending time with your parents in order to be beside them. You are into this situation because they are separated. They will understand you. You do not have to pick one.

both of them are very important for me in my life, i love both of them a lot but i am little closer to my father, i will choose both of them i cannot say one, so, dear it is very difficult for me to choose one of them.

yeah i got you. when my mom and dad separated, they should have known the consequences if their separation. its hard for the both of them but its harder for me because i need to choose on which side should i stay.. :( like you ill try not to choose one, ill choose the both of them.. anyway thanks for commenting binagupta :)

if in case my parents decided to parted ways though i know its not coz they are too old to do that already. but just in case then i will choose my mother of course as my mother can be my confidante, she can give me moral and emotional support and shes can give me more time since she just at home compare to my father whose not always at home all the time. and it easy for me to open up my problem with my mother coz i know shes also a woman like me so she will understand me more than my father.
