Do u listen music while doing mathematics?

I do not listen to the music when I do mathematics. I only listen to music when I was doing drawing. when I start working on Engineering drawings yes, I listen to the music. When I travel at that time also I listen to the music.

hi! well, i don't do any math works, because I am not a student anymore(not at school, now i am at the university) and I have never listen to music while I was doing my math works, because math was very hard subject for me, and I had to concentrate no the works so that i can solve them :(

Yes, I have this habit.I always listen to musics when I do maths.Really that will be interesting.It keeps me more active to work on even if I didn't get the solution.So I always love it.I have also noticed many times that when I write my mathematics exam I will be humming that song which I used to hear when I'm practicing.Lot of times I have noticed that.Unknowingly that song will be running in my mind.So I enjoy doing that.

my friends have same habits u have.but i dont think it is a good habit.u can listen music doing home work.but how do u do while in the mathematics test?give up this habit as soon as early.focus on ur study but not ur ear.

I used to listen to music when I was in the intermediate level, loved it with Mathematics and Physics but was irritating while studying chemistry. I always hear the English albums while studying and sometimes Hindi. But now-a-days I am unable to do so because of a lot of study pressure, I now listen to music to free myself and relax from my hectic schedule. Thanks to have listened! ~cheerio~

ya me do the same . i always like to hear music in the background when i do some works. i always have music parellely when i write, and doing maths also. i have not felt any problem due to that infact its a boost to do things without bour.

It has been a while since I have had to do any kind of mathematics. However, with that in mind, I have in fact listened to music when I did math. There was just something about music that caused me to calm down and not be frustrated by even the toughest problems. It allowed me to focus long enough to get the task at hand done. Music always helps me concentrate on anything and math is no exception to this rule. In fact, I listen to music when I do any kind of work, whether it be school or otherwise. It goes a long way at calming the nerves and helping me get everything accomplished. Math is no exception to this very obvious rule but there are other subjects.

I took up engineering back in college. I love to solve math with music in the background. It helps me focus a lot. I miss college.
