There have been a lot of earthquakes around the world, recently. What do you think about it? Is it caused by something or someone? Kind of strange to me?

The continental plates are always moving - either towards or away from each other - and therefore stresses build up which are suddenly released from time to time as what we call earthquakes. The Earth is by no means solid and the crust is something like a bell that reverberates with each shock. I believe that a large earthquake in one part of the globe can send shockwaves out which might easily trigger a sudden slippage in another part where there is a stress waiting to be relieved.
I believe that there may be more earthquakes soon. They may not be as large as the Chilean earthquake but they will have been triggered by it. There are, to be sure, many small quakes in some part of the world every day but I expect some long overdue slippages to occur.
