Sleeping straight for longer time is Not possible. Turning sides from left to right and right to left is common. It is said that one should sleep on left side for better health of heart!

I don't either. I heard it was bad for you back to lay flat on the bed. But I'm not sure if that's true of not. I sleep on my left side curled up in a ball every night. I can't sleep unless I lay that way. I'm pretty sure there's an indent in my bed.

Hi, siliguri. I don't sleep straight. If I do, I will end up waking up feeling stiff like as if I can't move my body. I have tried sleeping straight, but it did not help me. I soon felt uncomfortable. So, I will have to turn my body to the side and sleep. I usually will sleep on my left side.

NO not really straight, and I don't believe on that doctor you are telling us about. Its definitely not healthy to sleep straight in one position throughout your whole sleep, I mean who would want to sleep straight if when we wake up we end up having muscle pains and such, where is the healthy part in that?
I sleep in a position where I am so comfortable with and I've been sleeping that way since I was born. I never had any health problems.

the point to be added is sleeping straight on your back is good for your spine.. sleeping on your side is also recommended but you should use pillows to support your legs and neck... but sleeping on your left may put pressure on your heart.. sleeping on your back is generally not advised and should be strictly avoided for babies..
