During the times we were alone, do you relate what you feel on a song? Its very common for people that they relate what they feel to a song to minimize the pain or the joy we feel and end up loving it? Our choice of the songs that we like is because we can relate in to it. Relating your self in a situation you are right now refreshes your spirit and feel comfortable and happy. I usually do it on times I was lonely, happy or in-love. The song was usually on my mind and I keep on singing it. How about you? Do your usually relate your feelings on a song so you will feel comfortable and happy? How does it feel?

Hi shalabhvaid, Its very nice to listen to music on times when you need comfort but you where alone. It becames a big help since it give us time to think and reflect for the things around us. Its the best way to relieve pain and stress in our hearts :)

Hi there doncruise21! this is a very common gesture that we all do, especially if we are heart broken, wow, it seems that you can relate to all the sad love songs playing and same as when you are in love.

Yes, most of the time in fact. Some songs have such good lyrics that you just can't help but feel for it. For example, the song Against All Odds by Phil Collins. I can understand perfectly what the lyrics were trying to say, as I had similiar sentiments before. That song is still my favorite even after so many years.

Oh yes most of the time! I guess everyone does it, well most of the people I know does it. Music is actually something that people use to express their feeling and it tends to make what we are feeling better, and if its a negative feeling, specially if you listen to sad songs, it makes it worst.
What I'm trying to say is when a person is happy and when s/he listens to a happy music, then their happiness becomes better and if a sad person listens to a sad song, their sadness worsens.
