Hello MyLotters :) so that's the problem.. I finisked my studies last year and got a bachelor's degree in Economics. As the spring is coming I can't stop thinking about the need of going to study again. So what do you think? is it necessary to keep studying for master's degree? what are the advantages and disadvantages of studying?

Of course it is. Education is a life-long process, and does not end even with a doctorate degree. Knowledge is being renewed at a fast pace, and in order to keep up, one has to continue to be in active pursuit of knowledge. It makes sense. Imagine a doctor who doesn't renew his knowledge every now and then. Will he be an excellent doctor? Probably not. It's good that you have the intention to further your studies. I think the pros should very much outweigh the cons.

Hello myzire, your answer somehow combines everything I think about it. So next step for me is.. how to choose the subject of studies for the master's :)

I think it's important to keep studying though we have already graduated from college. maybe we no need to study an a formal institution, but we can find study field in any kind of places, such as society, organization or others. and we can sharpened our knowledge by keeping study. cos I think our brain will 'die' if we don't use it to think. and I agree with a proverb said: we're never too old to learn.

I agree with what you are saying. I understand that it's important to keep our knowledge up to date. And of course we don't need to go to university to deepen our knowledge, as we can do it everywhere else. But what I'm concerned about right now is should I go to university for the master degree or is bachelor's enough..
