I feel like I'm in purgatory.

Our internet was cut off indefinitely... we'll probably have it back tomorrow. But for now, I have one that's portable, and I'm doing my best to look at the brighter side of it. It's just been three days but it seems like forever. I eventually got frustrated. I've had a plan and I was upset that I didn't get to fulfill it all. And do you know that feeling when you're trying your hardest to be optimistic, but your efforts eventually winds up being spent in vain? It's like reaching for the heavens and falling a centimeter short of determination? Now I could feel like the voices in my head are mocking me, for procrastinating over freelancing. Boo me. :| How do you keep yourself from stagnation?

Have you been in purgatory or is there really a purgatory? I know the feeling of internet being cut off. especially you have something to search for. My temperament was showing every time my internet is cut off or not loading.

my theology teacher said heaven, purgatory and hell are but a state of mind. i dunno really, but that altogether is a whole different set of topic. :)) i usually feel okay, until that sudden moment when it was gone so unexpected. that's when i got pissed off. i'm glad it's back anyway. thanks for sharing your thoughts. :)

I so know how you feel! Enough to drive you insane, isn't it? When I can't get online, which is all I normally do, I try to do the deep cleaning around my house that gets missed during daily clean-up. But that's no fun. ha ha I seen a cute status message the other day that said "A clean house is just a sign of no internet!" Try coloring, I love to do that still and I am a big girl! ~Have A Blessed Day~

I couldn't agree more on the cute status message. LOL. But true. My mom once told me that cleaning the house is actually a form of therapy not only for the bored but also for the depressed! And I will have to agree on that part. Haha! Thanks for sharing your thoughts! :)

They shouldn't charge you for the down time. I'm in the U.S. and when my service was down for three days once, I got them to reduce the bill. It might not help much with your frustrations over the delay of your plan but at lest it would save a little money.

Like you I look for the brighter side of all things. Sometimes it works, othertimes it doesn't. But, most of the time if I can make myself distracted enough, then I eventually forget about whats bugging me. Though losing internet isn't always fun. But, you found a way around it and it works for what you need it to do. You may have it back soon, and its only been three days. Imagine not having power, in the middle of the summer, and no real way to keep cool. There would be nothing then. No light, no cable, no internet, no ac. Nothing. That in my opinion is much, much worse.
