Came across this interesting bit in the paper: http://www.thespec.com/News/article/733303 I didn't know what category to put it under but settled on news. I guess I could have put it under art. What do you think? Did someone over-react?

Every time I read a story like this I think of all the other 'what on earth were they thinking' stories, at the turn of the last century a very rich eccentric woman left her considerable fortune to an organization to clothe snowmen because she found them indecent. This was over a hundred years ago, much has changed yet some things have not.

I thought that the US was a democracy where the will of the majority won over the minority. But here, one person complains and the police force a cover up. You see as much in almost any museum and they call it art. Sad.

Just a tad, yes I think there was a little over reaction. I suppose it is news. I wonder why we can look at the statue in the museum but if it’s made out of ice it’s a no, no? I don’t know what to say, really, I’m just surprised this has made the news at all!
