First, I've trained dogs for 30+ years, so I know what I'm talking about. Second, pit bulls were bred to fight, in other words, the aggression is an inbred trait and there is no way to remove it--it's there to stay. My advice--unless you live in an isolated location where it's just you and the dog, and no one ever comes to visit, particularly not anyone with children--then get rid of that dog NOW! If there is any chance whatsoever of that dog coming into contact with a child, you cannot afford to keep it. I say this because dog owners are beginning to be held responsible for the actions of their animals and if your pit bull bites or, God forbid, kills, a child, you could end up in prison, and be sued by the family. Believe me, no dog is worth that!

The only advice I can give you is if you have cable or lots of channels look for a show called the Dog Whisperer with Ceaser Milan he is reallllllllly good.....Good Luck!
