Why is Phil Tourism not promoting our beautiful beaches to the world?

I have lived in the Phils for 39 years. I had a good job & was single then. I have traveled almost to any point of the 7100 Islands we have. We have beautiful heavenly beach strands! Now i am outside Pinas, i canvassed for a place in Asia for our 3 week vacation. From internet to brochures, one after the other Travel agencies... why is it that there is no vacation offer - as in not one - offer from the Phils.? Our neighbor country - Thailand - offers hundreds of hotels & promotes their beaches & natural resources. Indonesia, Singapor, Malaysia to name a few are all in the list. Why Phils is not? Phils do have beautiful beaches, do you agree? Have you also wondered why we are so behind compared to other Asian countries in terms of Tourism? Who's work should it be to sell & promote our land? To let it be known as beautiful too - and not of the mindanao Muslim kidnapping threats. We can compete! Phils is outrageous in naural beauty! Share if you have ideas and is also wondering like me. Thank you!

We do! There are even still nice islands we have that are not yet explored. I find it sayang we are not proud of our natural beauty. If we shout it to the world like Tahiland do, i guess we can be a big competitor in Asian Vacation targets.

Maybe the Dept of Tourism, Headed by Secretary Richard Gordon who is presently a presidential candidate, wants to keep all Philippine beaches for himself. Or maybe he wants all our beaches for Filipino use only. ,,,,,,,,,, Feel kind of sorry for my fellow countrymen, but in my opinion, everything boils down to us, we should be very cautious in selecting people who will run our great islands.
