Think of it 3 major earthquakes in a year.Hate to admit but does make you think of the doomsday prophesies barely two years from now. Many have prdicted that should it happen, it will be from earth's centre.Explosive eruptions and world shattering quakes.! Cant wait to let it come and past without incident and be proved wrong, all the prophesies!.. Yet i am thinking ,if we were a hundred percent certain that it will happen, what and how will you live your life from this moment on? Personally i ll forget about trying to get fabulously rich and just spend marjority of the time with my family and see as much of the world as i can.@ years to catch up with all the happiness and joy of living then the rest is to the grace of god!

I don't believe in the "doomsday prophesies". I believe 2012 will be yet another year where we can expect a few earthquakes, volcanic explosions, hurricanes, tornados, etc. and people dying. I am 100% certain I will die. I just don't know if it will be this evening while I'm lying in bed or 20 years from now in a car accident or 2 years from now in a tornado. Knowing it could be at any time, I live my life believing in God, loving and enjoying my family and friends, playing with the dogs, traveling, working in the yard...loving life. (Making a lot of money, fame, etc. you notice weren't in that list.)

I´m no prophet, but I can make the prophesy that in 5 or so years from now there´s going to be a mayor earthquake in my country. I can prophesize also that the next earthquake is not going to be as big as this one. What I mean is that phophesies are easy to make. In a sismic country there will be earthquakes, in a land with active volcanoes there´s a chance of an eruption. Hurricanes in the United States even have names. I was in Orlando years ago when Charley passed by me. I was spared by blocks. It has nothing to do with doomday: it is nature. I don´t think it should take a disaster to be aware of the miracle of life and love and to try to center your life in values instead of trying to get rich. With or without doomsday, if a person centers his life in material things, he is dooming it by his own will. Take care

Disaster make me feel life like a fugitive flower, not to speak of sucess and happiness. I did not experience a disaster like that but in my heart I do not like it happen again owing to it makes people suffer a lot. I could not imagine one day if the earth without life, everything will become a mockery. Hope God can bless most people enjoy a good life.

I don't know who is claiming the world will end in less then two years from now, but i have never been one to take life for granted. I know that when I lie down to go to sleep, I may never wake up. Morbid of a thought that it may be it is a sad reality for so many. So many lives easily lost. With this simple fact alone you should take life for what it is, a gift.

Yes..rather we started to understand true meaning of life. If they confirm that the earth can stay for us next 2 years, then no one will think of saving for 50years, business, tensions, stress, fights, break ups. All will be with family, friends loved ones enjoy the rest of the life without tears. Everyone will live the true life for next few years :-)

We humans just never learn. I guess we have to be taught the hard way, always. It made me think too, about this major earthquakes and all the disaster that comes with it, just how scary life is turning out nowadays. I think that it shouldn't have come to this just to make us appreciate all the simple pleasures and splendors life has to offer. If all does end in a matter of two years from now, I guess the best thing to do is repent and seek salvation for the afterlife.

i was carefree back then. and when my sister was diagnosed with cancer, it got me thinking, if i were in her shoes, what would i do? a cancer is a cancer, but it is treatable now but still, its quite frightful and she's just 23 then, just beginning her life. then i realized, life is too short. so i should make the best out of it. now, i'm not focused on making myself rich, or getting happiness through materials that i can have. rather, i'm now focused on making myself happy and contented on what i have, what i can improve, and just living each and every day like its my last day. life is so short, we just need to enjoy it and forget about being pessimistic.
