original or current?

i prefer the original pokemon, but looking back at the tapes, the plots are simple. but i dont really like the new pokemon, doesnt seem very creative. what do you think?

the old pokemon games where unique, and that uniqueness gave them the edge, I think the fact that the first few pokemon games are considered to be the best are because they where the first of their time. Overtime it does get a bit drawn out, and developers run out of good ideas, but have to think out some kind of script so the game is released, some fans will buy it anyway no matter how bad it is!

Original 151 pokemon are the best. Anything after that is useless. They got lazy and just started making things up. The original 151 are the only good ones and they are AMAZING.

I think the original episodes were very simple, but they were targeted at children and I was child when they first aired which is probably why I like them more. Also I prefer the first 151 pokemon so I am biased towards the episodes that feature them.
Personally I think the height of the pokemon series, as an anime, is in the movies, especially the first couple of movies released. They far surpass anything that has come out for the television anime.
