I had a conversation about this with a friend a few days ago, and I surprised him, by tell him some of the bands that are Christian bands. I think the label turns people off, but there is some awesome music in this category. Bands like Red, Skillet, Flyfeaf, Fireflight, Remedy Drive, and many, many others, are great bands. I was wondering if anyone is turned off, because of the label of it being "Christian radio" or not? Would it surprise you if you found out your favorite band is a Christian band? Would you start listening to more of that type of music? I'm not talking religion here people, I'm just talking great music. Would like to hear what other people think about this.

I like Jars of Clay and correct me if im wrong P.O.D is Christian band. What i think of GOOD MUSIC is no matter where they are labeled, genre and categorized belongs as long as you like or love it to hear its good.

I totally agree with you, if it's good music why not listen to it. And yes P.O.D. the band, is a Christian rock band.

I'm an atheist, so I'm not the biggest fan of any kind of musical group that preaches religion to you through their music... however, I'm a huge fan of the electronic group, "Justice". Their songs have names like, "Genesis", "Let There Be Light", and, "Waters of Nazareth". Their big album is even called, "Cross", and they have a huge christian style cross on stage when they do shows... and you know what, I love them! They might even be my favorite band right now, Christian or not. It doesn't matter so much what they believe, it matters how good their music is.
