Now i make a plan for myself about settling a new city in my country. I have been considered this sounds like alittle bit creazy plan for 4 months and i am not sure if it would be right or wrong. There are not lots of logical data to supports my idea but i want to. Though the city-Shanghai i want to settle is a metropolis which is filled with pressure of competiton, and the same time, competition means more oppertunity i would grab. The most attraction of shanghai is either surroundings or tense atmosphere, and all of that is suitable for my young age in long term development.
Of coure, to say is one thing, to practise another. I do not know that how long i will last? Is it really more nice to settle there than where i am living now?
Have you ever settled a new city where you did not know it very well? How many times? If you want to start your new life in another city, what will be your most critical element? What was the reason that gave you power to restart in aother city?

hello there,
hmmm, have i ever settled in a new place just only for interesting? No.
well right now, i am living in a place far from my home town but the reason for it is because of my husband's work! he was assigned here and so i must go with him.
before, i used to live in another city but my reason for doing so is work as well...for me i will not go to another place if i am not really sure what is waiting for me there, unless there's sure work waiting for me, so that i can sustain my needs while living there...
on your part, i think you should think more about it and if you think you can, or you are really competitive as well & ready to take chances, why not. there's nothing wrong with trying, but i hope you will be wise in making decisions...and try to balance things first...
maybe if there's even someone there who can help or guide you, it can be a good start...
who knows, you will find your true self in that place...
goodluck & God bless...

Hello ckyera,
Thank you for your kindness suggestion~
There is no doubt for those who as long as have a good reason which can persuade herself that one will not feel regret! Like you said, there is nothing wrong with trying, and i have a question about that, if you will realize that what you have been persuit of life for some years are wrong and the results are not looks like what you thougt before, what you would do next? Yes, i know that just a assumption, of course, it can be a probable situation i will face in the future. Oh, you hit the bull's eye that i am not nearly able to balance things, because i have no idea about what the option is i should stand.

well if it don't turn good or as you expected, don't regret it, coz you are also learning something in the process. and it will be more regretful if you don't try...
don't expect much so that you will not be disappointed, and if you fail, don't stop trying...
and if you are already there, grab every opportunity that's coming your way...coz opportunity knocks only once, i think. and let yourself grow...
there's also nothing wrong in asking for some advices and opinions of people close to you...and ask for God's guidance.

Oh~~~~how do you find so intelligent idea?! I admire that you have a cool head~
What you said are so useful for me to consider either challenge and opportunity would be in my new life in there. If you plan to do something which you have never tried, do not you worry about the result of that? How do you judge the decision you make is right or wrong?
Have a good day~

I live in the U.S. and I lived the first 25 years of my life in Ohio. When I was 25, I got a promotion and the company that I worked for relocated me to Dallas, Texas. I lived in Texas for 5 years. I didn't know anyone at all when I first moved there. I loved the experience. The culture was so different. While in Dallas, I met my husband and he was from Los Angeles so when we got married, I relocated to L.A. I love it here. The weather is fabulous but as you mentioned, the city is fast paced and highly competitive. We're now retired and are hoping to move to the Seattle, Washington area. We also plan to live in Italy for a year and to use it as a base to explore Europe. I think that we always think that a place where we don't live is more exciting than where we do live but that's not always the case. Still, I would encourage you to follow your dream. If it doesn't work out, you can always go home but I think that you would find it a fulfilling experience.

Hello Lauren,
WOW, you are the one of lucky seekers.(Permit me to pu it this way) Thank you for sharing your exciting experience with me. The reason inspire you move to another strange city is golden opportunity there, and do you still decide go to another city when here you live is not bad? When we settle a new city, which means that we have to make a new start for all the things. Do you have enough courage to give up all you similar with and to open a total new life? I cannot agree with you more about your mentioned, i can go back. Haha~ if i will be in failture, i might think of that as my last step, but i do not allow myself end in failture in shanghai:)
