Have you ever met anyone that you consider famous? A movie star, a musician, an athlete? I post this because I just got a text message from my fiancee saying in two weeks, I'll get to hang out with the members of the band, "The Stereos", "Hedley" and "Faber Drive" - three of my favorite musical bands. I also graduated with a band from high school who are called "The Latency" who are slowly, but surely becoming very sucessful. Especially here in Canada. Also, because I'm so involved with hockey, I've met many of National Hockey League players... Who have you met?

Lol. It's crazy how after time, connections and opportunities seem to open up. In the L.A. airport I met Chris Brown and Rihanna- before all the drama, when they were still together- and it was a complete coincidence. It was cool because my sister loved them, and we skipped prom that weekend. My friends and relatives have connections to celebrities and athletes, so it's weird how growing up opens my eyes to what's around me. --congrats on the music celeb's :)

It certainly is amazing how doors seem to open. I'm very excited for March 23rd when I get to meet the guys. That Chris Brown/Rhianna thing is funny, what were Chris and Rhianna like to talk with? What kind of athletes do you have connections with?

Regardless, free tickets are always awesome. Rhianna does seem like the type who would get annoyed... Yeah, they are all playing here in town, and I know the lead singer from Hedley's brother and he said that we can come hang out with the bands before and after their show. It'll be pretty neat.

I met Derrick Brooks, when he was playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was a bit of an arrogant a$$hole. Roy Jones Jr., the famous boxer, used to come into a restaurant I worked at all the time. He is a pretty cool guy. I also met the rapper Rich Boi a few months ago when he came into the restaurant I work at now. He was pretty cool.

I live in L.A. and have met many celebrities. One of our family member's works for Arnold Schwarzenegger's production company, Oak Productions. I've met both Arnold and his wife, Maria Shriver. Arnold used to be involved with Planet Hollywood so we were invited to most of the grand openings. I met Danny De Vito, Demi Moore, Bruce Willis, Anna Nicole Smith, and Rob Lowe. Just relax and be yourself. The only difference between you and a Celeb is that they are more visible. They're normal people just like you and I.

That is very, very neat! You are right, they are no different than us, except more "out there" and have a heck of a lot more money, but it is still very neat to meet somebody with some fame behind them. Oh, I met Canadian comedian Sean Majumder once too.

When I was in university I had a fraternity. One of my fraternity brothers was a movie star. So I guess that counts as hanging out with somebody famous. Unfortunately he's not that famous now. I think he got married and is just now doing some stage plays. That's why I don't to get to see him in movies anymore. I guess you're lucky to be involved with hockey. I would love to meet NHL players.

I've not hear of those bands neither do I have contact with the hockey world.. But in my youtuh, my mother took me to the lead radio station in the 90's, the host was my moms close friend so I spent some time there. I don't remember who it was or when it was but according to my mom, it happened. In terms of music, I've taken a picture with Zezé de camargo, one the most famous country singers here in Brazil. It was actually a show in the USA, he let me get on the stage and take a pic with him, I was about 9,10 yo. Now, talking about more recent facts, I've gone to several standup comedy shows here in Curitiba and I've met all of the guys, to say some of the most famous, Oscar Filho and Danilo Gentilli, two very famous humorists who do a program here in rbasil called CQC. They are very cool in person and also outstandingley funny.

I met Mickey Gilley, a (old now) country western singer, at the Phoenix (AZ) Airport. I actually ran in to him or him in to me. And when I recognized him, I asked him if he was Mickey Gilley. He said "yes" and gave me a picture of himself which he then signed for me. I kept it for many years, but it's disappeared now.

I've met actor Terrence Howard before. I used to work at a department store as a sales associate and on one of my evening shifts, I noticed that there was virtually no one on my floor! At least it seemed like that. Well everyone was getting autographs from Terrence Howard and the funny thing was he had a bunch of underwear in his hands, so I'm pretty sure he and was trying to make his purchase and leave as smoothly and quickly as possible.

yes, back in the days. I have a cousin who is a famous actress in my country, Philippines. Since we are cousins, I used to go with her during her tapings and concerts. I met a lot of celebrities then. I even made friends with them but not anymore, we moved to a different place so we are now very far away from them and just can't go and visit her anytime I want to. Anyway, those were the days. I also seen Pope John Paul the second. he's was famous as well right? Tho I haven't met him, Just seen him from afar.
