How is your Avatar related to your personality?

Hello dear friends, Everybody here has Avatars. Most of us prefer to use pictures that actually signifies our traits. We often use funny posters instead of our own photos. Some may also use quite serious thing that conveys deeper meaning. My Avatar is from the cartoon series Sonic The Hedgehog. I really loved the way Sonic used to help others. I admire his sense of humor and intelligence. He was fast and wise, which let him stand apart from most other cartoon characters. He always came up with some new ideas to help others, and that is what I love the most. In my Avatar Sonic is walking, seeing which one of my friends asked, "When will your walk end?". My answer was of course, "Never". What does your avatar say about you?Does it say that you are actually a funny person and you are quite amused by what is going on? Or, does it have a more subtle meaning? Thanks in advance for your response God bless you

Hi getbiswa. Your avatar is really cute even if it seems to look sad. I can't help but ask though because it looks a lot like Felix the cat. The hedgehog, Sonic, which I remember was blue. Or perhaps I may be wrong? Anyway, when I first decided on an avatar, I was hesitant to show my face. So I opted to show various expressions of my eyes. I wanted to stick to one avatar all throughout because I realized that people can remember you better through the avatar so that changing it often can mess up with the memory thing. :)

Yeah, that's definitely Felix the Cat and not sonic. Sonic has a different face, more spikes, and a different kind of tail.

She's right, that's Felix the cat. He's a black and white cat and they always had this gag where his tail crawls on top of his head becomes an exclamation mark whenever he is surprised or a question mark when he is thinking. Also, note the long tail that he has. I don't say this to be rude, I'm just trying to point something out to you so you notice. And yeah, Sonic was blue and had all sorts of spikes on his head and back, and he also wore red sneakers.

Well I don't remember the color sonic had. I can't tell about the color from this picture as this is black and white. Talking about your eyes, I have realized that you are a quite intelligent and energetic person. Fun-loving and affectionate. I think you love animals too. Your avatar is cool. Eyes are the window through which one can always see the real person within. Thanks so much for such a nice response God bless you

Just goes to show what I know because I thought your Avatar was Sylvester the Cat lol. In fact, I was going to mention it in another discusson and say to you, "I really like your Sylvester the Cat Avatar!" Honestly, I was! As for me, well, you can probably gather the Avatar is actually me and my hubby on our wedding day. I did have more pics of me on my computer but they were lost after it got fixed. It's OK, the photos of the wedding were loose ones and in a book anyway, so I don't panic about there only being a couple on my computer now. The Avatar itself is only just less than 2 years old so it is definitely a true depiction of "me."

For my avatar, I use the symbol of the moon that I drew on MS Paint. I just really love the moon, but my personality I think is like the moon itself, I am to other people the ray of light in a dark world filled with loathing and hatred. I also try to be calm and collected whenever possible, but even I have an angry side, I just don't show it as often as other people do. I am kind of secretive as well sometimes, but I sometimes decide to open myself up to other people that I feel like I can trust. In case you haven't noticed from my other traits already, I'm also somewhat shy, hiding in the dark, kinda like the moon is half hidden on a cloudless night.

Thanks for the compliment on my drawing. It's actually pretty simple to draw, however, I just use the circle tool for most of it. Yes, even the moon in the center. What I did with that was I created a silvery gray circle, and then created a circle using the background color (black) to cut out part of it, and voila! You have yourself a simple yet elegant crescent moon! This is one of my drawings that I'm the most proud of. I was in the process of making another very good one, but because I wasn't paying attention the paper got torn and now it's ruined... But even in its incomplete form you can probably imagine how it may have ended up. Basically it was my own version of the artwork of Sakashima, the Imposter, a Magic: The Gathering card. I tried to do it in the same style as one of Yoshitaka Amano's drawings that he made for the Final Fantasy games. It would have been my greatest drawing to date if only I hadn't accidentally ripped it in the corner...

Hello, Did you really made it all by yourself? Ohh, Dear, its so cool. Yeah, moonlight is calm, peaceful. It always brings serene atmosphere along with it. About the angry side, not demonstrating it is ok, but there could be a better treatment with your anger, to change your perspective for a certain time. We stick to a certain thinking pattern which may sometimes go in the wrong direction. Even when we feel it, most of us don't give up. We need to be detached from the situation at hand for a certain time and then check it out from an indifferent point of view. Problems are not solved at the level they are created. You often need to elevate yourself from that level to successfully solve it. Thanks so much for sharing your insight God bless you

Hi getbiswa, My avatar is my real picture. I had a tiara and the word princess stamped to it to math my username. I choose this picture coz my mom was actually the one who introduced me to earning sites like mylot, and I am their only child and fondly calls me their princess. So that's the origin of my real name and avatar.

My ava is from the comic Pibgorn. The three are (from left to right) a succubus named Drusilla, the fairy Pibgorn, and the hair fairy Oognat. These three are, in this scene, trapped in a game show in Hell. In Hell, as was described in a previous story in the comic, you are trapped in the punishments simply by being made to believe you have no way out. If you remember that you can leave, you're free. In this case their capture is more agressive. All three are in a semi-dream state, grinning like regular game show contestants on a dating game. The scene in my avatar is just after they're told the winner gets an all-expenses paid trip to pure Hell, and the losers will be torn apart before a braying audience. Their smiles are stuck, but they are just aware enough to realize this isn't a good thing. Someday I'll get the previous panel with their dreamy smiles and make it animate back and forth to better show the change to fear. In any case, I chose this because I simply love the comic, and a frozen moment of horrible realization and helplessness seemed a lovely choice to me. The choice will, of course, make a ton more sense to those who read Pibgorn than those who've never before heard of it in their lives.

Hellooooooooooooo, Welcome to myLot. Hey your avatar looks so cool. I didn't know about this comic book. I've read so many comic books, most of them a little bit masculine, and less intelligent you know . Do you still have those comic books? I myself have kept some of my childhood books. I would like to read this book of yours. Is it available online? Thanks so much for such a wonderful response. God bless you

Actually, it's a comic on GoComics. Like newspaper funnies, but this one is online only. I need to find the collections sometime when I have the money to buy them. It's probably available online but I've yet to check thoroughly. As for actual comic books, I've read a (very) few of the American variety, and a ton of the Asian variety. I'm rather addicted to manga. I'd be more likely to get into the American comics if any of the shops around here had any organizational skills. The few I've read were in hardcover books, much easier to find and purchase.

My avatar is of a celtic knot peace sign which I think really says alot for who I am. I am Irish and would love to see Ireland at some point. I love the celtic knot and their intracesy and history. the peace sign goes along with my teen hippy days back in the 60's. I thought it was a cute match.

hello getbiswa, if i am not mistaken, this is not your first avatar, right? but this one you have now is nice as well and atleast it has something to tell about you... with me, when i choose this avatar, i don't think that it has something to do with my personality, all i know is that when i saw this picture, it attracts me coz i always like hearts & the color pink! hehe but since i have been using this for quite long, it already given me some identity here...somehow. maybe it also have something to say about me, like my heart is always flaming with love? haha

Hello, Like I said earlier in this discussion, there must be something inside you that actually chose your avatar on behalf of you. Yes, from your comments love do sparkle. I had a different avatar. I changed that horrible avatar two days ago. This one is kinda cute. The previous one was my photo. I thought I might have a bad reputation if I hang that photo for long. That is why I changed it. Thanks for your participation dear. God bless you

I don't know how to make a avatar on here. If I did it would be a animal or a cartoon character like Snoopy or something like that. You said your avatar is from Sonic. He looks exactly like a character from the 60's Felix The Cat. I used to watch that cartoon when I was a little kid. I am just curious what his name is on Sonic and if anyone else mentioned that. You may want to look up Felix the cat sometime and you will see they look exactly the same.

Hey, I know they exactly look the same. But Sonic the HedgeHog didn't have that long tail. At first I thought it is Sonic. That is why I wrote the thing. But after careful observation, I've found that A Sonic with a Tail must be a Felix Cat. LOlzz Thanks for the response

more than that, getbiswa. my avatar depicts the basic necessities for survival in the philippines. it pictures how i feel about simple living and getting rid of the complications that come with a corporate career. also, the boredom of working in government. what you see in my avatar would make for a meal -- the rice is there and some money to buy dried fish. and all the worries for the day can be set aside. let the coming day take care of itself.

Your avatar has some deeper meaning too. Often a satanic intention is hidden inside an apparently smiling face. Another meaning of it is that you have to twist each of your words to a somewhat evil extent to make others laugh and roll on the floor. Thanks for your participation God bless you

I chose my avatar because we used to own horses and I used to ride them from a very early age. It's not the Knight on the horse so much as the horse he is riding. Although I do enjoy the legends of King Arthur here in the UK with his Magician Merlin. Whether he existed or not, I cannot know, but the legends of dragons and magic as fascintating. Life can be magical sometimes. _Derek

my avatar is a wolf standing before a microphone. I like it because the wolf looks properly sinister and I got it from a church site that was blabbering about 'wolves in sheep's clothing' (like Billy Graham) who pervert the 'true meaning of the gospel' which is basically that everyone but them is going to hell. Needless to say, I don't believe this, and it makes me feel good to have the avatar to imply that I, the self-proclaimed infidel, am out there 'preaching' an alternate gospel, so to speak. I like the thought of cultists like that church seeing me as subversive and dangerous. I like to think I am dangerous to close minded, intolerant thinking. Plus I love wolves. What other people see as sinister, I see as beautiful. So my avatar means a lot to me.

That is something really wonderful you just said. What other people see as sinister, I see as beautiful. There is a certain form of self realization where once you reach, you see all living soul connected to God. All animals, plants are actually objects you can love and nurture. Human beings are the supreme of his creation. That is why they are loved the most. Thinking different doesn't always mean perversity. I once told to one of my friend, "Even if an entire nation thinks something is unfair, I may not agree with it." Thanks so much for your response God bless you
