What ambition have you held the longest?

we have many ambitions in life . but some ambitions we are not able to achieve to achieve for a long time and we will just give up or will be still be still struggling to achieve it . do you have any such ambitions . ? how long have you held a ambition ?

even until now i still wanted to be a doctor. a cardiologist. that was an ambition that i know i won't be able to accomplish anymore since i have no time and money to pursue this career and i'm too old to start it now.
i wanted to be a cardiologist because i knew even before that my mom has a heart problem and i wanted to be the one who'll take care of her. but at least i have a brother who's a nurse so that's well close.. 
oh i also wanted to be an actress before hehehe... who doesn't right??? at a young age you'd like to yourself in the tv doing commercials or movies...

I have an ambition of starting my own IT company. I am struggling for it from last 3 Years. From today, after 3 years I will get my B.E. computer degree And I will start building my ambition. I have held my this ambition from last 5 years when I was 14. And I will achieve it anyway.
