what do you do when it's hot inside your house?

In my place it gets hot during the day and the heat remains trapped in the house. When i return at night I Go out onto the street or to the terrace. Open all the windows and put on all the fans. Though I still fancy the Airconditioner .. but nonetheless .... am still content with the present conditions....

It's very hot specially summer is coming. The best thing I do is eat some halo-halo or get something very cold to drink. We really don't experience that much heat in our place because we have lots of trees. I could go to the mall and chill..

Yeah I'd die without my A/C if it's really really hot however I like the heat for the most part. I work love to do some gardening... it's about 30 degrees here and still lots of snow on the ground. I just froze my butt off waiting for my dog to do her business.

if its hot inside the house since theres no park here nearby i just get the coleman and put a lot of ice cubes and water in it and keep on drinking it from time to time to make me feel so refresh. sometimes i go to the mall even if i didnt want to buy their i just stay there or sometimes i watch movie then i only go home if im already sleepy.

The easy way to stay in the room which has air conditioner. However I can feel uncomfortable if i stay for a long time. I would like to go out and find a shady place to keep me cool.

I put on fans,open the patio door and open windows.

what i do when its hot in the house... actually i don't move that much. haha i would just stay in the room open the electric fan and just feel the artificial air in my face.. hihi at least i would feel much less hotter.

Hi, flagella08. It got so hot in my apartment yesterday that I had to turn on the cool air. It felt like summertime in here. But, my husband said that it was not warm outside.. I had to turn the fan on while I was in the kitchen. When I have my oven on, my apartment will be hot like it is summertime in here. When I get very hot, I will turn my air on. Close the blinds and drink an cold glass of water with ice in it.

I don't have a air conditioner in my room. So I prefer switching on the ceiling fans.. And I feel too uncomfortable due to the hotness then I prefer switching on the table fans .Its pretty hot here too and its hard to go out after 8 or something.

We're suppose to be having spring soon over here but its still pretty chilly. When its hot if I'm not having to do some outside work I just stay under the air condition, I try to keep out of my room because its the hottest place in the house even with air and fan working running. I guess thats because of the attic access in my closet which I keep the door to that closed but that seems to do nothing to help. We have all of one tree outside right now because we cleared out the others but the garage seems to stay very cool on hot days so I'll hang around in there.

It's very irritating when the weather is hot and the electricity always went out. It's very hot inside the house, so i would rather stay outside the house, and read something that would interests me, and let my children play inside their inflatable pool for them to get cool at hot times.

I will take a bath to make my body cool. Go outside and do some watering of the plants. Checking the flowers and get some dry leaves from it. After that I wanna sit under the big tree to have a cool and fresh air. To overcome the heat inside the house. Bring somebooks to read and whatever then I am sure I will be okay and fine. Having the natural air is so nice than putting on the electric fan inside the house during hot day.

Usually complain or find some way to cool the place off. Usually run the AC unit. I don't care to much for extream tempures and I do my best to avoid them. If the temp gets too high I can't breathe so I have to keep it moderatly cool. Not too cold though.

I live in New Mexico (US) and it can get in to the 100s easy in the summer. Fortunately, when I built my house in 2005, I built it out of insulated concrete form (ICF). The r factor is 52 in the walls and the roof is insulated about just as well. My house stays pretty cool even on the hottest days; the air conditioner may kick in once in awhile, but it stays pretty cool.

Well, its really hot in our place too. Most of the time, I am out of the house considering that I have a day job. Well, as I go home, I turn on the electric fan to at least take out some of the heat. As I am about to sleep, I turn on the airconditioner so I can sleep well. Usually I set it on timer to save on electricity.

it's quite hot the place where i live now, it's so hot, sometimes loo flows and it's really unhealthy to be outside at such times, we need to go out with stomach full, i mean going out in the afternoon with eating anything can make you prone to sun stroke, it's really a very hot place and no one likes to get out during the afternoons but one has to when there is work. i just stay in my hostel room and run the fan, for some reason it is much better and not really as hot in our rooms, no ones wants to come out in the hot sun.

The place where my mum house is build, the weather is so so very hot during the day. I usually wake up very late in my own house but everytime I sleep in my mum's house, I have to wake up very early to escape from the hot weather. We have a small hill at the back of our house which my mum has made a very confortable place for us to escape from the sun. On a tree branch we hung a swing and that's the place I spend most of my afternoon, reading my story book. Sometimes I will even fall asleep in the hammock. We can really do anything inside the house because of the heat (no air-con) except when we are cooking lunch.

when i feel very hot i will just switch on the ac on most of the times . some times i will go to the terrace . we have a small roofing on our terrace and i will just be having sone time . since my place is surrounded by trees i will get some good breeze and i may feel good and then wil come down after some time . i may feel relaxed to doing so .

I don't like summers at all, because i am from a cool place but my grand moms place is very hot when i go there on my vocations,when i feel hot i open all the windows put on the fans and sleep on the floor i really feel relax.

Here,at my place in china,the weather is cold and raining. I just wear back the clothes which should just wear in winter. The weather of the earth is changing too much!
