I have been searching jobs online. I'm looking for those data entry type of jobs or maybe one of those medical data entry jobs but it seems some of the sites needs you to deposit atleast 40-50$ to start data entry. I'm not really sure about this and I need some advice before joining. Is it wise to join this sites? Has anyone already tried one and earn from it? Are there other alternative sites?

I sometimes do work I've found on the elance.com site. You have to bid for jobs but it's not always the cheapest that gets it. I've gained several writing jobs in this way. There are all kinds of online jobs on offer and I'm sure data entry is one of them. If you do join elance, be aware that you must have a really good CV as it's all potential employers have to go by. Take a look at other people's and see which are most successful. There is no charge; it is all totally legit; and I never had any trouble with payment. It was all very straightforward. Good luck!

Any time you have to pay money, however small the amount, for a job that means it is a scam. Don't EVER pay money in order to work! I wish I know where there were good jobs but I don't have many ideas. Go to microworkers.com or workfromhomeguide.net Those are legitimate places you can find real jobs that won't cost you a thing and won't rob you.

Thanks dude. Thanks a lot for starting this topic. Even I have been on the look for a decent job online but I never end up in getting one which is always a sort of problem to me. Even there are sites that ask us to invest a small amount for earning but i am not sure how genuine they are and hence I never do that. Have a nice day and happy myllotting. Cheers

I learned before I was even serious about trying to make money online that I needed to stay far, far away from any place where you are supposed to make money online that asks for a payment upfront. It tends to be that these kind of sites are really nothing but scam sites.
If you are interested in doing data entry, one of the smartest things that you can do is talk to places that are near where you live and see if they offer the ability to work for them from the comfort of your own home.

Hey. Try out Neobux, I heard it's a trusted site. Even though I dont use it often I would also check out cashcrate. It's a offer site and get up to $2.00 and the cashout is $20!

I have been doing this and trying this, and so has my boyfriend, but you cannot rely solely on the computer to get what you need and want when it comes to a job. Sometimes you have to actually go to the place in person, or you have to go by "word-of-mouth".

I don't think it wise to invest money online as it may turn out that you lose all your money. I think you can try some writing sites like mylot, helium and others. Some of my friends belong to several writing sites and they are making decent money from them. You don't need to invest anything. All you gonna need to do is to improve your writing techniques as you maybe requested to write technical articles. As long as you work hard, you'll be able to earn good bucks. Good luck!
