Do u believe there is something call luck help u if you are not give your 100%?

I believe too that luck sometimes plays an important role in our life. There are some instances of life which we cannot just rule over. No matter how much we work hard, we sometimes end up failing because others have much luck over us. At times too, we are surprised with all the blessings we have. Although, I must say that persistence could also play an important role especially in competitions. It will make you stand out and eventually you will be considered a top contender. After all these things, you may fail it or pull it all, you can be proud of yourself not because of what you got but what you have experienced and worked for has truly paid off.

yes i beleive that luck is play a very important roll but according to me work is also important to create your luck according to you and make your future bright.

I think there is really a percentage in our life that luck works. However, I think hardwork and perseverance are the most important aspect. We couldn't rely in luck all the time. People who does this are kinda lazy I believe. For those people that we think are lucky have also worked hard for what they have become now and didn't sit back and waited for their luck to come. Maybe people who won lottery they are the lucky ones I guess.

Luck is something you think it's a luck,so it's a luck.Sometimes it's none business of if you work hard or not,some other situations may decide the luck is belonged to you or not .Some luck is nedded to seek by yourself.Maybe somebody is good at boottlicking his leader,his promotion is more than someone who only work hard not to bootlick his leader.

there is no such thing as luck with person according to me... every thing goes fine only with hardwork,trust and involvement.....

ya for sure . i think their is always a factor called which will help in your way . even though we achieve things only due to hard work . we need some luck too to achieve the success . if you dont do some work and still you come out with success then its surelya piece of luck . it has happened to me many times . i would study well for some exams and will do it poorly . i may not at all study well but will get some good marks .

For me, there is.. I used to have mates in school whereby they wouldn't study and give their best shot of 100%, but they still have that luck and passed. Some even passed with good results. Bummer.. lol. And I've seen these bunch of people in the adult world too, they are everywhere. There are those people whom slog 100% and then succeed, some whom don't give their all but still succeed and those that are lazy and fail too. Luck is something that cannot be controlled. It's always there, but I totally believe someone's luck can change if they work hard to succeed, of course. Luck can change from good to bad and bad to good..that's my general take on this. Good topic, makes me think for awhile there.

I quite agree with you. Luck is usually present when you give the maximum you can. It's like somebody sees that you're trying and working hard and decides to help you a little bit. But if you fail at something and you know you wasn't giving everything you could, you can't blame the bad luck for that. We are the ones in charge of our success.

Luck just like life is just what you make it to be. It can eaither be complicated or uncomplicated. If you don't feel that you didn't put enough effort in something and it doesn't work out, then that's your own fault. But, at the same time if you get that feeling and things work out in your favor then you aren't giving yourself enough credit. Either way, its like that hannah Montana song "Life's what you make it."

One has to work hard to reach his goals and i think that luck is link to your positive thought, if you are thinking about "No, i think i can't do that" so you wil never be able to do that.

I believe in luck and I also believe I'm not a very lucky person. But I can give you the names of friends of mine who I think are extremely lucky. That doesn't mean I don't work hard and they do. It just means I think if we worked equally hard, the ones with luck would win (the job, the game, whatever). And at a casino, I might as well hand the casino my money, because they're going to get it anyway. Whereas my friends would hit the $1000 jackpot. (P.S. My friends won't even let me stand beside them in a casino because I bring them bad luck... I have to be on the other side of the room.)

I believe in luck. For some things that happened in my life they tell me that luck is real. Because luck has a common friend that is your silliness. For example i was of some curious effect as they say it is i was around 15 years of age back then. I heared something from our nearby neighbor. I climbed our fence that was a bit high then around 8 feet so i jumped. When i was about to pull my self up to be on top of the fence the part of the brick that i was holding broke. Thus making me fall downwards. But the thing is i did not hit the floor or te ground because a part of my arm just a few centimeters below my pulse was punchtured and a piece of metal around an inch was stuck deep inside my said arm. That i would need my self to be push up to get my self free from being stuck. After a while we went to the doctors and the doctor told me that i was that close of getting my self killed. Because if the metal indeed puctured my pulse it would be a horrible end. But then again I have Luck to give thanks to

I agree with you that if you work hard and give full effort then you will have a big change to achieve what you want but sometimes people still neek a little LUCK to make it a complete achievement!There is 1 of my friend,she never really tries hard in her works but at the end she still get good results and even better than the ones who try hard...all her friends believe Luck is always with this girl!

hie sliguri, i believe that luck is the result of hard work, deligence, discipline and being proactive. we have to plan, focus and strategise. all these come with spending effort, time and energy on what we are doing. thus luck is the result of being there at the right time, right place, making the right decision and taking the right action where things fit in perfectly. luck to me means God's favour and blessing. example i do well in my examination because i pay attention in class, do my homework and do revision. well at work, i am a high flyer because i know my work and excell. all these need amongst others, hard work and patience too. right timing is important for success in whatever we do. if the timing is not right, somehow or other, cannot get the desired result. i agree with your views, siliguri.

Yes, I do really believe in luck, because it happens to me all the time- not only when I am not giving y 100%, but also then when I really don't expect it- just think about it- luck is when you find a coin/banknote no the ground, luck is meet some friend in moments when you really need some help, luck is also meeting the girl/boy of your dreams when you just walk among the people :() that's why i really believe in it but yes, you are right- you can't want to have success in something if you haven't worked hard on it and you just wait for the luck
