whom do you think is better in acting ? men or women ?

I dont know what movies you have watched but I've seen PLENTY of flicks where the female actor is the lead and outshines any male actor in the movie...Who is better? Truth be told it depends on the movie roles (who is the lead character), and the actors themselves..and their ability or lack of ability to portray the character...There is no such thing as "men are better/women are better" becuase there are just far too many variables...

you can't measure it since their not the same gender or category. it doesn't depend on the acting of the men for a movie to bill. it depends on the actors chemistry together. either way they should be able to act together and create a movie or series that people will surely watch. in the entertainment world its not who should be better in acting but how you can act and make the money rolling. some of the actors or actresses are hired because of their looks alone and not their acting prowess.

Men have the more prominent roles in most movies. So it is the men who are better in most movies. While ladies are used more to help support the story.

It depends on the script/character as well as the actor or actress.

I think it depends on the length of the role each plays in a film. Women get less time on the screen then men do so it is about the chance of showing your act. I have seen women oriented movies where they have done excellent. I would say both men and women are good.

I think it depends on the length of the role and the character being played. its not about man or women, if a man gets good script he will definitely do justice to that but a poor script will not have much impact on audience. Women gets less exposure in the film, mostly for singing, dancing. There are movies where women have done too good because it was written for women otherwise it is always men who score for the success of most of the movies.

I don't make a distinction between male and female actors. Both are good and a successful movie depends on the efforts of all actors involved whether its a main part or a secondary one. Female actors are bright and capable as their male counterparts. So I do beg to differ with your statement that a success of a movie depends mostly upon male actors.

It's a tie. In film there are so much more great roles for men but on stage there are more great roles for women. Each actor/ actress brings their own talent to each part. It isn't fair to compare men's roles to women's.Both are great wen the Right actor/ actress acts the part well.

I think men are better because they're much better liars and deceivers than women are. Afterall, what acting really is?? It's just pretending to be someone you're not, who's better at that than men?? They practically do it for a living .

I am sorry but can't give a straight answer to that.... I am 40 yr old so have seen some wonderful actors and actresses over the years.... Some that have been around as long as me... I have seen alot of them die also over the years..... I think acting in itself is a special occupation that only a patient and precise person can do or overcome.

Overall I think women are better actors. At least in real life. Men don't care as much as women do about most things so they don't go out of their way to act sorry or whatever. Most women think different things are important than men.

I would like to tell you my favorite actors and they are Madhuri Dixit, Kajol, Tabu, Shabana Azmi, Jenniefer Lopez, Angelina Jolie, Sandra Bullock, Meryl Streep so I hope you would have guessed by now who is the better in acting.

I think the question is no key. Men can't act something that women can act, neither can men. No movie can be without men or women.

I think both men and women can act well, if not, there won't be both best actor and best acress awards. I have watch numerous movies and have been touched by both male actors and female actresses.

I think both male and female are good in acting. We really cant generalize that men is better in acting because there are a lot of women who can act well. We also cant say that women are better because there are also a lot of very good male actors. It depends on their roles in the movie that sometimes we think they are not very good in what they're doing. In some countries, there are actors and actresses who are not really very good but when I say Hollywood, they have the best there.
