do you prefer watching t.v with famiy or alone?

hi. there was a time when we all(entire family) use to sit together and watch t.v. that time cable connections were not introduced and there was only two channels were available. programmes were neat, good without any vulgarity. but when we recieved cable connection , things changed, everybody had their favorite channel, nice clean programmes vanished, and soon there were fights for remote. and then we got separate t.v for two rooms. now there is no more fights any more, but i miss them. i really liked watching t.v. with whole family but the quality of programmes and too many channels had killed all the fun. what do you prefer- watching t.v alone or with family.

There are some shows that I watch with my parens and other shows I watch alone. When I am with my boyfriend and thekids we watch television with the children and when its time for bed he and I would watch t.v together.

I prefer watching television with my wife when my son is fast asleep. As he is a chatterbox and always want an explanation. So I cannot watch a movie quietly. I cannot understand what is going on! I prefer to watch a soccer game when I am all alone since they are not soccer fans and they always ask me at what time is the match going to finish so that they can turn on to another channel

Hi all ! I love to watch tv with people, its called communicating ! What is more fun than having someone to share the entertainment with ? You read a book alone, you watch film with someone, anyone, they need not share your views, but we have a need to share those views. Some things are just meant to be shared, also its part of relationships , to communicate, even if it is to disagree !

I prefer watching TV with my family!when i watch movies,shows with my family i can have some discussions about what's going on in the movies,shows and we chat together,it's better than sit and enjoy movies,shows alone!

Yes, it's difficult to compromise as everyone has his favourite programme. Such a dilemma does't exist in my family. There are only about seven channels on our tv and we usually agree on what to watch. I like watching tv together with my family. It's a valuable enjoyment because i'm working away from home and seldom return home.

I actually prefer to watch television alone. That seem selfish but that would mean lesser argument. When i watch television, i like to switch channels when i am bored with what i am watching or the present channel does not interest me. Being the only female at home, i usually have different interests with other members of the family. If it is boxing, we would usually agree to watch together.

Personally I`d rather watch something alone. Very rarely do I like the same kind of shows that other people like so usually I`m watching something I don`t want to watch, or they are watching something they don`t want to watch.
One thing I absolutely hate is when I watch something that I love and I hear other people say, ``That show sucked`` or something like that.
I`d rather just enjoy it on my own.

I watch television with my children on a regular basis, everyday for two hours. We really dont watch a lot of television so we get two hours monday night and then I watch television by myself for two more hours, this happens daily but I prefer to watch the television with my family.

Of course watching t.v. with family is more fun, since we can exchange view with each other on certain films. But, if we want to fully take charge of the remote, to watch our favorite channel, then watching t.v.alone is the best way. But, it will makes me feel bored, because no one to share and exchange view about that particular movie. So, for me, i will still prefer to watch t.v.with my family members.

It depends. I am the deviant one in the family, but it doesnt mean I dont appreciate anything at all. I love get-togethers.
It just so happened that I have different likes from my sisters. So our gigs usually clash.
But if it family matters, then we are all into it.

Yeah,when I back home,I like to watch TV with my family. At home,we usually watch some entertainment pragramme and I like to discuss and share the happiness with others.It would be happy for a family to share something tagether and I enjoy it very much.

most of the times i will be watching television with my family . but i always prefer to watch it alone . i am a big sports fan and i will be always watching the sports channels , but if my family is their my mom wont watch any sports except cricket that too for me and my dad wont many sports except cricket , hockey or some major sports events . so in theses i have i have to change the channels to suit them also so i find it difficult to change when i am watching something interesting . i alone cant watch a thing when they are sitting . it will be boring for them . so i will be in a dilemma .

frankly I prefer to watch TV alone. I can really enjoy the program if I watch it alone. it also avoid me to have quarrel over the chosen program. more people means more desires. and it's really bothering. but today I seldom watch TV alone cos my daughter will 'conquer' TV for herself.

I like to watch with my family members.It will be very funny if we watch with our friends.We will just make fun of the TV programs and kidding each other.Even I watch with my family members also I will enjoy watching.When I see any horror or romantic movies I will watch alone.It will be very interesting if we watch an horror movie alone and will feel good if we watch a love based movie.So it depends.I enjoy both kind..

I prefer to watch tv alone. Like you, we used to share a tv when I was living on my grandma's house and we had only two channels back then when I was younger. It was fun and a good bonding moment for the family. However, when I was a teenager, I got my own tv set in my room and we had cable. So from then on, I watched tv alone coz I'm a couch potato, I like to surf channels a lot, while my dad always watch the news and sports and my mom likes the lifestyle channel and local shows. So it's best if we had separate tv sets for our channel preferences.

There are some paritcular movies I would like to watch with my family, but mainly I enjoy most movies watching them alone beacuse there is nobody to distract me i like watching movies, I can even say I am a movie manic in some way beacuse I watch too many movies a week - around 10 or more, but in the other hand if I watch a comedy with someone from my family it is always more fun than usual.

I prefer watching tv alone. Because with my family we are always talking.When I watch an episode that am I really into , I don't want someone bugging me with there stupid comments. When I watch television when my family, I know to I won't really watch the tv.
