seeking assistance from someone in the medical profession

I'm writing a short story and I need info. Here is the synopsis. A woman between the ages of 40 and 45 with three kids ranging in age from 8 to 14 moves to the mountains of colorado after her husband leaves her. During a blizzard, she starts to experience symptoms of a heart attack. The symptoms are mild. She is having difficulty breathing, but not to the point of panic. No pain, but pressure in her back and her chest. She feels a tingling in her left arm. She feels a pressure in her jawline. She takes 3 baby aspirin and calls an ambulance. she is told that emergency medical personell will not be able to reach her for at least 2 days. Here is the question. How long can this woman survive? What can she do to help her last? What should she not do? She wants a shot of vodka. Would that hurt or help? She wants a hot shower. Would that hurt or help? Anyone with medical knowledge or someone who knows someone with medical knowledge, please help me out. I ficticious charactor's life is depending on you. LOL
