List the most important tips for public speech

I am about to give a speech at my workplace . Pleace give me some tips because i am kinda nervous and i dont really do a lot of speeches or presentations and therefore have a stagefear. THANK YOU

what always worked for me... for all the speeches I did in the past when I was way younger than I am now. I always made sure I add a touch of humor to it so the people around would easily feel at ease. I didn't want them to think that I was going to preach a sermon and bore them.

I would also suggest you to add some humor to your speech. It will remove all the negative prejudice that some people might probably have. Another tip is to speak calmly, slowly, so that audience will get every single word. Have a glass of water in reach, because being nervous may dry your mouth and throat up, so you would want to have a drink during the speech. And most important thing: try to stay as calm as you can all the time, behave naturally.
